Our philosophy is: if not now, then when? We’re Matt and Dave, and together, with our dog Hudson we’re exploring the world in our Escape travel trailer. In the winter of 2023 we traveled from Ontario to Texas to pick up a 17 foot Casita trailer from the Casita Factory in the town of Rice. We spent over a month on the road. We liked it so much that by the Fall of 2023 we upgraded to a 19 foot Escape travel trailer.

❤❤❤ I love my fiberglass trailer they are made so much better they hold their value extremely well nice choice🎉🎉👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🧛
You are absolutely right about that!
@@md.adventures have fun with your new rig. Super nice 👍👍👍👍👍👍🧛
@@user-xl4lr3jp5ythanks, hope you are having a good summer
Navarre Beach is the best spot on the island, can't wait to go back during turtle season. If you haven't gone to the turtle conservation center it is a must stop spot, they do great work in rehab and rescue and spreading awareness of how to help turtles in general.
That's great advice, we will be headed back in that direction again so will definitely check that out. We wanted to when we were there but it was closed.
Love that both of you presented in this episode. Great info.
Thanks, happy you enjoyed it
Dang thats a VERY NICE camp spot - you guys did a good job picking out that one for sure!! Oh great drone footage and song selection!!!
Thanks man, we really liked this one
Wow, I really enjoyed this episode, I got a good laugh at Hudson was completely checked-out after all that FUN!! 🤣 I still haven't tried working from the road yet, but plan to just to test at my next non-state park camp trip!! It's pretty cool that you guys always incorporate not only the campground tours/reviews but fun things to do in the area as well and boy oh boy watching that sunset on the water was picturesque!!!
If you make it down to Florida try staying at the campground, the sunsets are absolutely unbeatable!
Is there plumbing underneath showing?
The hot and cold water lines are running inside the trailer cupboards. You don’t see any plumbing under the trailer aside from the black and grey water tanks
Great video guys very informative, I also keep extra fuses on hand and sewer hose and extensions/support just in case! I just recently installed a TPMS system on my camper and boy I'm glad I did- I feel much better/ease of mind knowing that I can monitor my camper and towing vehicle tires at any given time- because tire blow outs are NOT fun at all...
Those are some great extra tips!
Thanks guys I’m new to rv how do you lock your surge protector?
That’s a good question, we don’t lock our surge protector and we very rarely see anyone locking theirs. Perhaps we have too trusting but so far it’s never been an issue.
Thanks guys!
@@YallAintRight you’re very welcome, hope it was helpful
good info.
Glad it was helpful!
Great video!
Thanks, happy you enjoyed it!
There so many cool things about this episode I don't even know where to begin!!! It's cool that you guys make an effort to learn the history of the amazing places you've visited thus far and wow the food at Harry's looks very delicious!! Oh yes, Trader Joe's is one of my favs, great variety of food items and treats- just picked up some strawberry and white chocolate pancake mix, strawberry muffins and cinnamon and sugar covered almonds ( yes, I'm a sweet tooth fanatic) LOL! Great episode guys!!
We love our sweets as well! Will definitely be going back to Trader Joes, just sad we don’t have one where we live. So happy you are continuing to enjoy the videos!
Eek! First like!! 😉
Haha nice!!!
If I'm not 1st I'm last. Great video
@bobgrabowski2232 haha with any luck you’ll be first next time 😉
Oh hey! CZcams just recommended you to me :) I'm so happy to see other people in the LGBTQIA+ community out here (I'm a lesbian). I was worried if I started I'd facing a lot of prejudice. I'm thinking of living in an RV permanently. I'm specifically looking at the escape 19' and towing it with my Subaru Ascent. Your videos have been super helpful! Looking forward to more and to see more of your adventures! Wishing you all the best.
That’s so awesome! I’m happy you took the time to comment. We’ve traveled quite a bit and have been fortunate enough to not face any kind of prejudice so far. Feel free to ask any questions along the way if there is anything we can help with.
zero help
I’m sorry you feel that way, this was not meant to be an instructional short, but there are detailed videos for tips and tricks for the casita on my channel
Happy Canada Day!!
Thanks Steve, same to you!
🧛 I guess they don't want no one to be drag racing through the trailer park... Besides that I don't think they could catch you in that golf cart you guys have a good one and it's cool that you're in Nashville Take care and God bless you 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Thanks!
❤ have fun you guys don't forget the Ben land Jerry's ice.cream. So cool that you are in Nashville 👍👍👍👍👍🧛
Definitely will not forget that!
I love the way you decorated your trailer! What kind of bedding did you use? Just normal twin XL sheets? Normal quilts, just tucked? Thanks in advance!
Thanks! For the sheets we used twin xl, but for the quilt we actually took a king size, cut it in half, and hemmed the seems (this was cheaper than buying two quilts)
👍🧛
❤❤ good taste and ice cream 🧛
Thanks, we are obsessed with good ice cream
@@md.adventures You got that Right 👍👍👍🤗🤗🧛
@@user-xl4lr3jp5y I love when someone recognizes the importance of good ice cream! 😂

@@user-xl4lr3jp5y agreed!
Great video. Honest and well done!
Thanks Steve, I appreciate the comment!
Looks like a great option for a smaller camper! I like the Escape much better than the Casita
We definitely like the Escape much better than the Casita as well. It’s much more conducive to our lifestyle when on the road.
This is the one I was waiting for. I love this campground from last year. Great to meet last years friends and make some new ones. Happy Trails!
It was so nice to get back to this campground and see old friends, what a great time. We stayed there for 10 days so the next few episodes will continue to showcase what we did while there. Stay tuned!
Great episode!
Thanks
First and foremost CONGRATS on the BIG milestones and what a very cool and enjoyable episode to watch!! Your campsite had some spectacular views and I know you guys had such a blast reuniting and spending time with your family and friends!! Cheers!!
Thanks buddy! It’s pretty exciting to be at this milestone, we’ve made a lot of great memories and can’t wait to share more!
Congrats on all the milestones!! Nice to see old friends and make even more new ones and memories
Thanks Steve, couldn’t agree more!
I have to ask- I Have to know... who is that "cute-tee" at 12:47 ?
Wouldn’t you like to know 😉
Hi guys Did you sell your casita?? It looks amazing
We did indeed sell it. A nice young couple bought it. We’ve been following them on Instagram and it looks like they are enjoying it. Since selling it we’ve been happily traveling around in our 19’ Fiberglass Escape Travel Trailer.
What is the weight limit on those camping chairs? The wedged sponge is a great hack for the roll of paper towels.
The weight limit is somewhere around 250lbs I believe but I don’t have the exact specs. At first we were skeptical about the wedge sponge but it really does work great.
@@md.adventures Thanks.
@@terrymathis4213 you’re welcome

Great tour. Love your simple life, not a lot of stuff. I'm working on traveling with less.
Thanks, we like to keep things minimal, it just makes things that much easier
Hi, jay here. Great Video. My wife and I have a Casita and are looking to upgrade to an Escape 19. You mentioned that you had a 4runner as do we. I was wondering if your 4runner is a V8 or the 6 cylinder. Also the gas milage you are getting with your Escape..........Thanks for any help you can give me concerning my questions. jay
Our 4 runner is a 6 cylinder and we typically get about 16 mpg
Love the trillium trailers of the 70s, we had a 1974 when i was a kid. The main problem with trying to buy one now a days is that everyone wants a ridiculous price for a 50 year old trailer, i think $15,000 plus is outrageous. You people who think these are worth that much should have your head examined.
It is pretty wild how much these trailers are going for these days.
Nice tour! We own a 1981 Trillium 5500, which is basically the 'ancestor' of your E19: almost the exact same floor plan, only the 5500 is about a foot shorter (our bed is slightly narrower). It's funny to see how you use the same storage compartments for the same purpose as we do, it almost felt like you toured our own trailer! We boondock quite often so we tend to use our propane appliances a lot, we don't carry anything that runs on AC like microwave or toaster oven, we cook almost always on the gas stove. Our 5500 also has a wet bath similar to yours and we use our own shower most of the time, it works great. The E17 et E19 trailers are what brought us to the fiberglass trailer world but they were out of our budget. Then someone mentioned that they are essentially the same as an old Trillium 5500 from the 80s... We eventually found one for sale, spent two years restoring and renovating it, and we're in love with it. Only an E19 would make us get rid of it!
That’s so awesome! Love hearing about your trillium. We actually started with a 13’ 1978 trillium. I’ve got a tour of that video on here as well: 1976 Trillium 1300 | Trailer Tour (Episode 32) czcams.com/video/sO5p8R39DMo/video.html
glad to see your subscribers are going up. Love your channel
Thanks so much, we are happy to see more and more people are watching and enjoying, thanks for your continued support
Great tour and think they are a sweet trailer ! Have been watching your channel for some time and love your content ! Take care and safe travels !
Always loving hearing from people who have been watching for a while, thanks for continuing to watch our adventures!
Enjoyed your video, did the foam mattress fit without trimming? And are you using the ikea slats. I like the little box shelf over the bed, did you make that. I am always trying to figure out a place to put my glasses and phone.
Really enjoy your videos. Getting lots of good ideas. I’ve been meaning to ask you about your 4Runner as a tow vehicle. Any issues and have you towed through the mountains yet?
Thanks, hope you keep on watching. No issues whatsoever towing with the 4Runner, even through the mountains, however I should say that we are very careful about how much we load up the trailer. We are always considering weight and packing accordingly.
Great tour video of you guy's setup and use of your entire space! I definitely like the clever idea with the sponge keeping the paper towels intact, the outside water faucet/bucket and the two way hose splitter ( I need to invest in this one myself)! Although I'm a solo traveler, I still be cautious of what I bring along- especially considering weight/load capacity etc. I do most of my cooking outside (weather permitting/summer months) using my Zempire deluxe camp stove! I was looking to buy a Berkey water filter as well, but man they most be popular and work really well because they tend to sell out fast!
Ya that certainly makes sense, it’s always good to be cautious of how much you load up. The Berkey has been a great addition, definitely worth the investment to always have drinking water without having to cart around plastic bottles.
It’s hard to believe since that was filmed we have modded so much more! You will have to do an update video on the upholstery, lithium batteries, faucet, range hood delete etc.
Yes definitely another video is needed
Using a pad or covering of some sort on the step is very important for another reason, as it keeps a dog’s toenails from getting caught in those little holes in the steel step. There have been horrible accidents in which a dog has had a nail completely ripped off as it was going outside. So please, if you have a dog and holes on your step, cover your step.
That is a very good point! I’ve seen it happen with my own eyes. If you have a dog, cover your step.
Mob-town
Oh ya?
I love the look inside and out. We’re saving for the ID, i already have the bedding for it. I agree with you on the tv placement. If we get one with the tv, we’ll put it closer to the kitchen side. Thanks for the awesome tour!
You're very welcome, happy you liked it!
Most boring gay pron I’ve ever watched. Kiss more next time.
How can we rent the space and what is price. Also can we get rent tent to stay??
You can make reservations online on the Conservation area website however they don’t rent tents or cabins at this particular campground.
@@md.adventures hey how can we get tents then for rent. In Guelph?? Please tell me.
@@vaishanavikanse5382 you’d actually be best to go and buy a tent at Canadian Tire. You can find small ones for about $100. I don’t know of any places that rent tents.
@@md.adventures okay thankyou
