    ___________
Our little nonprofit builds hyperadobe tiny homes with zero experience. In 8 months, we engineered, pushed, and struggled to make a square roof on this roundhouse.
Hyperadobe is a type of earthbag technique that uses netted bags instead of superadobe Cal-Earth style bags. This future home for one of our residences uses numerous natural building techniques like passive solar, earthen walls, reclaimed glass bottle art, earthen floors, and more.
    Thanks for watching!

Off the top of my head we are at about $1500 for cement, $700 in bags, $4000 for the roof, $1000 in windows and doors, and then the rest in misc electrical, plumbing, cabinets, etc.

If you factor in the labor very very expensive

The only sad part is those disgusting plastic bags are needed for all the soil. It would be nicer if it was all wood or rock or something.

Plastic isn't ideal, but at least it's not single use... and does significantly cut down on the other grossness such as toxic insulation, paints, etc, etc. Not perfect, but pretty good.
