Just back from a cruise on the Carnival Horizon and I must say the food in the Lido Marketplace is varied and delicious, which is more than a vegetarian can say about the Main Dining Room. We tried, worked with our server who had not one clue to help us since the Indian dish is not a favorite for us. Needless to day, we don't ever again plan to hit the MDR and have made a rather detailed complaint in out evaluation. The MDR is no friend to a vegetarian.
Does anyone know , why the menus are the same for all the ships? When does does the menu change? We have went on 3 cruises so for and it’s getting boring.😂

It really depends how they seat you. we’ve been put with both but if you’re with other people and you don’t want to be, you can ask the maitre’d to put you at a table with only your family. I do think they try to put you with your own family but sometimes depending on availability they can’t! Happy cruising!

I would suggest the Sail Away Party, joining the Carnival Radiance fb group for your particular sailing and making a post about looking to meet singles, and also going to the club at night. The club will probably be a good place for singles to mingle! Happy Cruising!
They do still offer lobster on 7 night cruises. Instead of it being on the first elegant night (night 2), it is now on the 2nd elegant night (night 6). Happy cruising!

They usually only give free orange and apple juice during breakfast time. After that you can get iced tea or lemonade. But it's watered iced tea or lemonade. It's not even good. We usually just bring our own mini cans of soda.
They used to give free lobster tails on elegant night. Now they make you pay for the lobster tail. If you look, it's listed under steakhouse selections. It's a $23 extra charge.
I always thought that the food was free ! I would never go on a cruise if I had to pay for food and the drinks ? So stupid. I get the drinks but never food ? Are all cruises like this now ???
You only pay for “upgraded or fancy” dishes if you like. You don’t have to spend a dime on food on a cruise as it’s included in your price you paid for cruise .. hope this helps
Now outdated. They are trying out new menus on Carnival Dream before going fleet wide. I cannot stop laughing. Stuff my father and his brothers had to eat after they caught the animals themselves in as poor folk in Missouri cruise lines think are delicacies for rich folk. First it was frog legs, then rabbit and now Carnival is going to add crawfish. When is squirrel coming? if rocky mountain oysters show up i will be in buffet, they smell alone makes me physically ill. rocky mountain oysters are bull testicles

I strongly suggest asking for peanut butter with the melting cake. It helps drop the richness of the cake and taste like a reeses.

90% is free except lobster. & certain steaks. However on 7 day cruises they usually have lobster night which is free.
