4:04 for anyone wondering what happened, the switch that was used for the tournament had some installed modded files in game (most likely an incompatible data.arc or arcropolis plugins) and it didn’t know how to react, forcing Atmosphere OS to crash and reboot the switch.
Looks like a visual hack, look at the character icons the names r different

Seems like a music mod
WannaBeDev music mods in UMM or Arcropolis plugins aren’t capable of crashing the game at all, his files were just incompatible, switch could’ve crashed at any time but chose the part with Ike and Yink.

You know, of all the unexpected things that could have happened, 3:58 was truly unexpected
First clip: the first hit actually clanked with the phantom and the second hit killed Zelda.
From what I saw the first hit missed and when the phantom attacked during Links second, hit it clanked and extended the hit box to reach Zelda

I thought the weirdness there referred to the hitbox of Lucario's up air. That Roy was pretty much right next to him when he got hit.
@@enjoyer2227 i guess so, but since a lot of people don't play lucario, they also don't know that lucario's B move will put you slightly above him , comboing into up-air (depending on sdi). i can see how that can be weird tho. To me, it's just rare lucario tech that few know about. You could be right tho

Next thing you know people are bringing hacked switches with their character modified to win
@@chronhado771 not exactly in the hacked os u can hack In game items or stats but in default u can't modify characters.
A big reason why they hack is that to get all the games for free and all dlc but there is a catch! If u miss up something in the switch software u will end up with a dead switch.
The cheats for characters are manually downloaded from the internet

Mohammed Mahmmoud Actually I have a hacked switch of 2 years. You can modify games however you like, that includes cheats, save editing, character, sound, UI, etc. I would agree piracy is the main reason for hacked switches. And his game probably crashed because he didn’t hold the L button (cancels arcropolis and skyline plugins) while launching the game.
When you mess up software and files, you don’t brick the switch, you crash Atmosphere and you’re forced to fix it to enter CFW again. And if you do wind up bricking your switch, you can always manually get it working again.

2:31 Power geyser has heavy/super armour (I think heavy but I cant remember). Clanked with cyclone, it’s pretty wack ngl.
1:00 pac mans hydrant has an active wind box throughout the entire move, you can test this by trying to counter the hydrant or by shielding it. Getting hit by it from the inside and getting pushed in either direction is also wack. You can get sent either nowhere or oddly far.
Super specials have light armor. Basically stuff that weakly flinches won't interrupt it
Yeah, but power geyser has super armor WHILE being on the ground. The guy had do SDI towards the floor and then do all the power geyser command in order to pu that off. Pretty sure he casted it mid air

0:42 Bowser jr. main here. Uncharged canonball distance is not extended by a lot when reflected. It's collision actually stopped when it touched the ground, which is a bit misleading and give the illusion it went through Lemmy here.
Not sure if the Lemmy player knew about this or not or just got very lucky with it's timing though, because 1-2 frames earlier would have killed him.

Fun fact: the window in which you can turn around Little Mac's up b continues for a little bit after the first hitbox comes out, so you can hit the first hit, then turn it around so none of the rest connect. Usually this is a negative though, because hitting the first hit with reverse up b out of shield is more difficult. I never thought about potential platform tech chase scenarios you could do with it though.
