Stuff I’ve discovered about Korean food preparation: Hamburger doesn’t always mean there’s ground beef in it. Almost everything has eggs in it. Cabbage goes on everything. Real cheese doesn’t exist there - only processed. There will always be more sauces on a sandwich than any other ingredient.
Deborah Phillips this is very true what a burger means in the UK or the States doesn’t necessarily translate to .other countries. At a food stall in Prague I asked for a cheeseburger and that’s exactly what I got , a small block of cheese coated in breadcrumbs deep fried in a burger bun with onions and ketchup . It wasn’t what I wanted but it WAS technically a cheeseburger lol !

eltingville81 - Yes but it’s because, oftentimes, sauces have high concentrations of potassium and other vitamins and nutrients. Check out the nutrition in tomato paste alone (used to make ketchup and barbecue sauce) or the nutrition in mustard seed. The contents are amazingly high and Koreans and many other global ethnicities know this and incorporate them into the foods for healthy cellular neurotransmission.

Is their use of cabbage the same as our use of lettuce? I do want to try cabbage on a sandwich like this however. It looks delish!!! But sauce overload.
