Yes, as long as you take it slow and careful. The throttle response is linear and predictable, without the peaks and huge horsepower of some of the inline 4 cylinder sport bikes.
Been around 2 years, since last I watched your video, and I still enjoyed your riding, sounds like some pegs scraping in some turns. I have a K6 SV naked, how is your bike different then mine, motor wise ? Thanks, yl
Good to hear:) The scraping also comes from the kneesliders. But for as far as I know your engine has some small updates. For example it has injection instead of carburetors, an extra oil cooler and maybe some more. I think the performance of both engines should be quite similar.
Ok, it was the knee slider i was hearing most of the time, if not all. Sounds about right because my SV will lean way over without ever touching the pegs, the bike seems to have more clearance than some, and work great in the twistys in the mountains. Would love to take it to a nice twisty track, if I was a good bit younger. lol Even so it looks like fun. Thanks, yl
Twisty mountains are great with an SV! Actually I raised the footpegs to have more clearance. On the road the normal pegs work great, but on track the clearance is not sufficient.
Slimmerik I bought one since my last comment. :) Lots of torque down low, love it so far. I could see how these would still be really fast on the track. Need to do some track days. What tires do you run?
The twisties is where this bike is king, any one can twist a throttle in a straight line (litre bikes), nice RIDING!

The SV is close to stock. Only small changes like different springs etc. The exhaust is a Leovince Full System, which sounds really nice!
True! Zandvoort is a really exciting racetrack
I race an SV650 in the northeast United States and my competition number is 329. :) Zandvoort looks like a fun track.

The rear shock is stock, with a stiffer spring fitted. Works fine!
Strak gestuurd! Ik heb er ook eentje voor op het circuit, ideaal om te leren, heel vergevingsgezind.

I have an sv650s it will defitantly hold its own, it suprises many people on harleys and kids in boosted honda's when you go blowing by them lol....

I have Michelin Pilot Powers 2ct on the SV. Perfect for the street, not so much on the track. Have fun with yours
