- In this video, I show you a DIY on how I use my grubby mix on some Dollar Tree pumpkins and mushrooms. To create primitive decor for your home. These are great for fall decor or even for your Halloween displays and continue right on to Thanksgiving. This is an idea you might want to try, I use wax from used candles, wax tarts, ect.i melt them in my tart burners,and use an old paint brush. While the wax is still warm I put the gruby mix on. It's something I did years ago on wood cutouts. And it has sent from the candle wax.

Aren't they so cute?! I couldn't believe when I saw them by the pumpkins. Count't get them in my cart fast enough. lol
I think if you would seal the wood tags with a clear matte spray paint the transfers would work for you :)
That’s what I was thinking. After waiting overnight I thought I would try the transfers again and they worked with no other prep.

Yes they don’t transfer wax. U could use ink
It actually worked well after I let it dry overnight. It felt dry when I first did it, but I guess it wasn’t.

Great idea!! I left the tags overnight and tried again. It worked great. I'm thinking they were still wet even though I let them sit for awhile after using the wax. They felt dry to the touch, but I guess not enough for the transfers.
