Some great reminders/ideas. Thanks Kim.
Excellent tips, Kim, thank you!
Thank you Kim for the large amount of thoughtful hard work you put into this video. You nailed it. Also, your enthusiasm is infectious.
#3 "Get out early" is the biggest challenge for me, too many years of working evenings at the hospital.
Great video Kim.
Thank you for the tips you mentioned.
I wouldn't have thought of changing my white balance to cloudy or using a polarizer for autumn photography.
I will definitely try this out.
I look forward to seeing more on Autumn photography in your future video's.
Ah such a beautiful pronunciation of 'polarizer' 😎 Stay safe precious one; from springtime in South Africa
Great video Kim, beautiful woodlands and thank you for the tips you have given
Thanks Kim! Best 10 tips on Autumn photography I have seen and I've been a photographer for a while. Every tip was useful! Cheers!
Great video, Kim! And a big step forward in production value. Keep up the great work!
Great tips Kim, thanks for sharing your knowledge.
Sound tips Kim. I'm surprised one of them wasn't 'look down' and photograph the many coloured leaves. Also, don't forget the fungi 🍄 🙂
Absolutely Barry!!
Oh that will be coming in another video 😀
@@kimgrantphotography oooh fantastic. That's something to look forward to. Your top tips video has certainly got me in the mood for autumn 🙂

❤️❤️❤️ thank you
Thank you so much Kim, I will keep listen this one again and again. You have beautifull voice.
Thanks for the list of reminders. Fall is one of my favorites and your video helped get my mind thinking and ready.
Great stuff again Kim. Thanks
Super video, Kim, thank you for sharing these tips. I’m so looking forward to Autumn in the Lake District - I’ve got a few locations in mind already!
Thank you Martin and so exciting! Hope the season goes well done there
I'm so looking forward to Autumn this year.
This was perhaps the best video I have seen on fall photography. Excellent job.
Thanks for this! I live in Colorado Springs. I went out 2 days ago on a cloudy day with a little rain here and there. The sun came through just a few times after a bit of rain and it happened so fast that I missed the beauty with my camera. Very disappointing, so thanks for the tips & encouragement to get back out and give it another shot.
Great tips Kim. Spotted Rogie Falls, my favourite place for combining water and Autumn colour.
Excellent tips Kim. Take care.
Great tips there, thanks Kim! 👍
Great tips. Thanks for sharing
Grazie mille Kim!
Nicely done Kim!
Keep up the great work!
Thankyou for the inspiration, Kim, that was well presented and giving me more confidence to go out in a wilder weather day. Just to find some good compositions now! I think im losing my essentric eye
Excellent video. Love learning from you. Thanks.
Excellent video of tips and why to try them.
Just brilliant idea's I will be having a go at taking photos off beautiful trees at Newcastle Upon Tyne and Durham City.
Great ideas - thanks Kim!!
Great production Kim and fantastic tips!! I use the Shade WB a lot when shooting sunrise shots!
It certainly can work so well when shooting sunrise and sunsets too
Aw this made me so nostalgic for one of the best autumns I’ve been out shooting in! Randolphs leap was gorgeous! I need to get my finger out and get out this year more! I loved how this vid was put together 😊
Thank you Pamela. I loved our time together last autumn. Would be ace to do something like that again sometime
@@kimgrantphotography same! Very memorable few days! 😊 I need to show you the van, let’s gets something organised for autumn 👍🏻
Thanks for your tips, love from Taiwan!
Hi Kim...I'm traveling to Maine from California, next week, hoping to catch some amazing autumn colors. Thank you so much for the tips.
Great set of tips, nicely presented video. Thanks.
Good advice. Thanks.
Thanks Kim, great video & tips ... only spring here in Australia so I will take note of your comments when we get to autumn & hopefully out of lockdown rules etc. Cheers 😀
Fingers crossed. Have a great spring 😊
That was a wonderful video presentation. Thank you so much :)
Great ideas. As others have said, you offered some new ideas, which is hard to do in the crowded CZcamsverse. And, it’s obvious you worked hard to make a well-produced video. Thanks.
Hi Kim and as usual, thanks for the inspiration. I must admit that, apart from the beautiful autumnal colours, I find this time of year particularly difficult. I suffer with S.A.D. so trying to motivate myself to get out and about at this time of year is hard.
👍Thank you for your kind English! I can understand more.
Thanks, you put out good information great video.
I'm so ready for this fall
Me too!
Very nice video thanks
Great tips Kim, I never thought about changing the white balance.
Always shoot raw, then you don’t need to as you can do it in post.
It's not so much changing the white balance as stopping the auto setting "correcting" it and taking out the autumn colours. It's the same when shooting during the golden or blue hour.
Great video. Thank you.
Great tips.
Great video.
Excellent
Thank you.👍😎
Good job on a great video and presentation.
Number 3 tip, might need an alam, was that Pamela towards the end. Autumn might be a little late this year, the weather is so warm at present in the Southwest. Thanks for the tips Kim.
Yes it was her. Possibly - it's warm up here too but some of the trees are starting to turn already
Lovely tips, lovely presentation!!! Thanks KIm! Greetings from Hong Kong. I subscribed immediately!
thanks for this video
It's always interresting to have those tips just before automn.
No excuse now not to go out and apply them to get most beautiful images
Great advice. You should take a walk up Glen Esk along the north esk river thru the “blue door” near Edzell Scotland. I lived there when I was in the US Navy.
I have never been there. Sounds lovely :)
I use ND five stop and 9 stop filters.
Great tip about different species of trees turning at different times. It's blatantly obvious when you think about it, but I really hadn't considered it before. Of course, you need to know one from the other...
Great Kim Grant Video, thanks for sharing
Great Tipps👍
Wow what a great video! So inspiring! SO, it's autumn here now, I'M GOING OUT, NOOOOOW!
Great vid!!
So very nice to see someone other than the usual "male" expert make a video on photography.
Awesome🤤 🎉🌟
Pretty good tips :)
Good info! 🎯👍 🥂
sooper
Brill 👍🏻
Kim, well said ....
I love the morning Autumnal scene with the heavy due on the spider webs that are backlit by a sunrise. Wonderful advice and great videography. Thanks and keep up the great work! P.S. Was that Pamela Marshall with you? I also enjoy her channel...
Thank you Jon. I too love the early morning spider webs. Yes that was Pamela
@@kimgrantphotography Are you gals doing a collaboration? That would be cool! You both are awesome!
What polarizing filter did you use?
Excellent tips it’s a bit to hot here in Texas for any color changes. Latter part of October maybe a little but in South East Texas the forest are mostly Pine Trees. There are some trees mixed in that do provide some color. Question: I believe you are using the Nikon Z6 have you any thoughts on the Nikon D7500? My wife is wanting a camera but not in the Z6 price range. Keep up the great videos don’t forget to mention your support site Ko-Fi. Fred in Texas
Yes - I have the Z6 and Z7ii. Before j went to mirrorless I had the D7200. Loved the camera and had it for 8 years. I imagine the D7500 will be just as good if not better being the more modern version 😀
@@kimgrantphotography Thank you Kim your opinion is very helpful I will get the D7500 and the 18-300mm lens if available. Stay safe. Fred in Texas
Awesome
I will do this on my channel vdo
What backpack is that you’re using at 3:38?
..If I had the opportunity to travel to Scotland by these times, I'd wish to be your walker ..assisting you with everything ..just for a single day.
Nice video Kim, but I would invest in a better quality wireless mic system for the outdoor shots. You have inspired me to come to Scotland again. :-)
It's on the Christmas list
Do you use a polarising photo a lot of the time?
2:56 The most important hint of the clip! - & >>> 6:37
Thanks Kim. When did you go mirrorless?
March 2020 😊
💜👍💜👍📷
Sun rise versus sunset. I prefer morning, sun rise. The air is clear of dust, exhaust gases. The over night cooling tends to cause dust to settle and exhaust gases to disperse. Sunsets benefit from stirred up dust and exhaust gases. They add to the colors.
hi there, really enjoyed that! great tips and great energy!! Have a new subscriber..... JP
Thank you very much. Welcome to the journey :)
What’s Autumn?
I can achieve most of this but getting up early is a massive problem for me.
I think that must be a common failing! thats my number 1 struggle as well! 🤣🤣
It certainly isn't easy but worth it when you get the good conditions
Nine great tips. Sorry No.3’s just not happening.🛌
😂
havn't see the result every tips you give, but you rush to another tips.. please show us the result of your tips
Not meaning to be negative - but your voice over is difficult to hear, it seems muffled compared to when you're outside speaking "to the camera".
So dull!
