    Welcome to my channel. I have been playing and collecting games since 1987 and I use this channel to share my passion and memories of gaming. I review games that I believe are under appreciated or wrongfully dismissed on Game Genie Reviews. Video Game Nostalgia is a fun series where I take a look at a topic from my gaming past and share games that come to mind from it. I also do Top 10 lists, of course I do...what else is on youtube right? Well I like to think I put my own spin on them because they are based on my life in gaming. Hope you enjoy the channel and always looking forward to hearing from you.

    On their most recent sale, AtGames had an incredible deal for the control panel. It was $250 for the control panel and all the standard Zacc tables. Considering the pinball packs have a $50 MSRP and there are five of them, it was a crazy good deal.

    Can't agree more, the Arcade Control Panel makes the experience so much better. Simply navigating the menus with the stick, the added buttons (also great for VPX) and of course vertical games makes it an accessory to strongly consider if you own an ALP. Great job MichaelB, enjoyed your production very much!

    Great review as usual MichaelB. Wondering if you would know if Canadians will be included in the NOD event so we can order an ALP control panel too. $249 CDN is pretty steep for this panel that is more of a nice to have. Thanks again & keep the reviews coming

I'm going to order the arcade control panel for my pinball and just wanted to know exactly how you get all the vertical/old school games like ms. pac man and galaga? I have been looking all over to try and find out how people are getting all these games that can utilize the arcade control panel. thanks

    I have that RecroomMasters cocktail table. It's pretty decent though a little overpriced. If you really want a cocktail multicade that reminds you of the Midway tables at Pizza Hut, then just get that one. You have to supply a monitor and computer with the games, but it looks great and has Happ controls. I haven't bought the AtGames pinball because I have the cocktail cabinet which would be a little redundant. The cocktail table has pinball buttons.

    Good seeing you back with a review. Got our ALP control panel via February NOD. Nice upgrade for menu navigation and terrific controller for CoinopsX games which look great on the ALP. Our original ALP exciters were 2 watts, the control panel has 3 watt exciters.

    Great review Michael B.. I like the control panel for the Legends Pinball. For those concerned with rattle buy some felt and tape at the dollar store and you can easily dampen the buzz. I now can run my speakers at full volume with no annoying buzz or rattle. Just like a drummer muffles their bass drum you van easily dampen this exciter buzz for about 3 bucks.

    I’d be all over this, but I wanted my pinball to be pure. Now if it had two sticks snd two sets of buttons, I’d get it. I’m not a huge shump guy either. Seems like a killer app for TATE shooters.

    The control panel is a definite improvement over the stock panel but the vibration is so bad on mine I’m going to disconnect the exciters - for some reason turning them off in the menu doesn’t work on my machine. They should have gone with mechanical knockers instead of exciters IMO.

    • @GearGuy
      @GearGuy Před rokem

      People just use felt tape or hot glue to adhere them better and that seems to do it. Alot of times they are just getting loose.

  • @edt1138
    @edt1138 Před 2 lety +2

    I will say that this is an essential upgrade, but wait for a sale because the price is too high.
    The exciters are a noticeable improvement over stock, and is probably what they should have installed in the first place. They are good enough that I still haven't installed those giant exciters I bought... yet.
