Thank you for an amazing tutorial! This was my first square ever and I'm using it now for a fundraiser. FYI there is a small omission on the edit at 12:07 where you skip mentioning the 3 chain stitches before the single crochet into the 4th stitch of the 7 double crochets of the previous round 🥴 I didn't see this until my second square but it's all good now. Thanks again, and i love your accent btw ✨🙏✨

At the beginning of Round #5 after the first corner when you chain 4 to do the double crochet in the single crochet of Round #4 you didn’t mention to chain 3 before adding the single crochet in the middle of the 7. You did mention it once you got to the next side though. Just wanted to mention that for anyone else that may have missed that like I did. I love the pattern though and your directions are super easy to follow. Thank you!

I LOVED this tutorial!!!!! I put a twist in the making of it though. Instead of crocheting the square to make it turn out looking flat, I front post stitched everything! Now the square looks 3-D. I wish I could put up a picture of how it looks because it's got so much texture it looks wonderful!!! I also used Red Heart Unforgettable yarn that self variegates and it looks SPECTACULAR!!!

Hi, Im new here so thank you for your demo! In reference to a previous comment, It is rather fast to follow as a beginner, but for someone who can't yet follow patterns and a newcomer to crochet, i managed to "WATCH, PAUSE, WORK, GO BACK, WATCH AGAIN AND REPEAT" and I have managed to run a fair few lovely lacy squares off this way this afternoon sat with my feet up feeling sorry for myself with a flu bug! So thank you for your demo - you have taught me to run before I can walk! My only complaint is a personal one - I have a sore middle finger left hand from prodding and poking it too much with the crochet hook! OUCH!! That said the elegent looking square is well worth it!

I managed to come across your tutorial and made a pact to myself that I would not stop until I figured it out. Your directions were so plain and simple that I was able to breeze through it as if I wrote it myself. I can not thank you enough for taking the time to talk in such a way that I was able to get the concept. Thank you for teaching me this just in time for me to create a special blanket for my granddaughter that will arrive the end of summer. God Speed!

I have the Willow granny square pattern in the "Jan Eaton 200 Blocks" book but it uses UK terms and no symbols chart, which is very frustrating not to have included with a pattern. Your video is easy to follow along, you are clear and concise, a great teacher. ☆It may help to watch the whole video before beginning, so you know where she's going.

Yesterday was the first time I’ve picked up a crochet hook since then and I knew I really wanted to learn how to do a granny square so I could make a beautiful blanket. Your tutorial was so easy to follow and my granny square came out beautifully and almost perfect! This was so gratifying and I know I will enjoy to continue to make these until I can piece together a blanket.
