I like to see and learn new pathways and spaces created by the condos downtown through your walks. I definitely learn a lot from your walks for navigating downtown Toronto.

Hey, JS! I enjoyed this walk to the Waterworks Food Hall. I really like the lights and the spherical orbs. I had a burger at Harry's and would go back to try the other places. I also love that you can sit and eat outside at St. Andrew's Park which is right beside it. 😊

Your video came up on my feed. Thanks now I know where the new Food Hall is now. I was trying to figure out the location because all the videos are from the inside. Glad the art at Union Station has been removed. It was depressing. The artist was my former instructor who was full of himself and would criticize art students artwork lol.

My guess would be that removing some of the art has nothing to do with the art and is just to make space for ads. Aka, a money grab. So that would explain why not all of it was removed. I think it's sad personally. I hate the idea that public services would need to be co-opted by private, for profit interests just to get the necessary operating funds. Public spaces should be a respite from consumerist manipulation.

The artwork may not have been to everyone's taste, I liked it. I prefer art to billboards.

The art wasn't adequate for a subway. Too gloomy, too dark, too depressing. People already feel miserable commuting, let alone staring at that on the walls.

What's the name of the food place in downtown Toronto where you go in one way, have a card, order what you want and the server updates your card. At the end you pay by with the clerk simply scanning the card. Inside, lots of brown wood. Close to south of Yonge I think.,

Thank goodness someone with a good sense took the decision to remove that creepy art from the walls. Public art in the subway should be cheerful and help make commuters' day better, not a bunch of sad, gloomy looking chalk art posters that make you feel depressed. Whoever approved that to begin with should be ashamed of themselves
