@@thaddaeuswong3574 u should look a bit into that plastic cement, i heard that it also melts the plastic to make 2 parts stick to eachother better so it probably melted the joint more then it should have...im not sure ive never used it... actually ive never built a gunpla haha im still a noob... waiting for that beyond global gundam to get it with a rg unicorn as my first kits... well use superglue next time, its probably better idk
I wasn't really paying attention to the review (I had it on while I did some work) and I caught the moment the Gunpla fell out of the corner of my eye. Builders' reflex kicked in and I reached out to catch it (slam my hand into my screen)
This is a great looking kit for the price, and I would have loved to see more of the MS get a revive version upgrade. I bought the revive Aile Strike and it was amazing. :)

I got the RG awhile back for $25. It's good for having less stickers for parts separation, however it is more fragile and finicky in the way that all RGs are. If you want a more solid, toy-like version I'd probably recommend the HG Revive, and you could just paint what needs to be painted. I even painted the exposed, non-moving gold parts on the RG, so it's not like it has everything covered. Also, another strike against the RG is that it has trouble standing on it own, to the point where as I was posing it on my desk it somersaulted and hit the floor, breaking one of the slim pieces above a dragoon (I cemented it back on, but you definitely want to avoid that happening). I think the RG and HG Revive have very similar proportions and aesthetics, so the choice would come down to how much detail you want in your model, and how much you want to spend to get it. This one would certainly be the more affordable choice, and now that we have it, we need not ever mention the original HG again.
BNuts Plus, the RG is very back heavy. It is nothing short of a chore to get it to stand straight with the wings. I absolutely needed an Action Base...

I recommend removing the tip of the barrel of the back rifle before combining them into the long rifle. Because unless you’ve glued it on, it’s likely to come off inside the front rifle when you go to separate them.

The best representation of the Strike Freedom in my opinion is the [Perfect Grade] next is the [Metal Build], this one is a good upgrade from the old [HG] reminds me of the 2006 [MG]
before when i was new to gunpla my first kit was a sd try burning but my first real type was this and i did not know those blue parts were dragoons or funnels
Does anyone else’s kit have a problem with the hip to leg joint being stiff, then easily loosen just by twisting it? The left leg on mine is fine, but the right gets loose easy.
i have this kit. Idk if its only me but the one I own has wobbly legs like it easily falls off when I try to pose it in different style... what a downer.. oh well it is a fairly old kit I guess...
The master grade has the same issue with the guns that plug on each other and are kinda loose. Also the pegs for the hands are a bit rubbish also for holding the weapon. And yes the weapon is too heavy for one hand. If not mistaken one of the bootlegs had gold plated parts meanwhile the bandai MG doesn't which is a disappointment because I am not a good painter and I dont paint my kits. So more or less for an HG is great. I have to buy the RG to see real differences. Edit: as for the dragoons I ll probably buy a bootleg wing effect and dragoon thingies. I can't stand watching the freedom with the dragoons just standing there :p

I usually like unique designs (mostly Zeon designs,Turn A and X..even some Recongustia G types), but this one here bugs me.....probably too many clashes in it's overall design, especially when compared to the RED/Blue frame types and Duel Frame types (and whatever the hell the Aegis Gundam falls under).
Thats the GAT series you're referring to, and yes, the Aegis falls under that even though it transforms And how is the design clashing? I and many people have zero issues with it. Its a long range MS like the Freedom made to take down multiple targets, and it got everything it needs to do that

And I wonder if the P-Bandai effect parts for the RG SF will work okay with this?
depends. if you want more detail and more parts then get the RG. But more parts can mean more unstable. If you want something really solid then get the HG. Also depends on how much money you wanna spend.
I agree I like the colour scheme a lot and I don't even mind the design (except for the gold hands) but I just hate how it's basically a "Jesus" gundam and is super OP and beam spammy.
add also that Kira is called by some (myself included) as Jesus Yamato... how could he survive such very fatal events... that even Coordinators could die if they're on his place. I don't buy the notion that he's the ultimate Coordinator BS... Sorry for that little rant

This kit for me is terrible, it a few days i built it, it all became loose, the hands were falling everytime, the backpack and the shield too, the wings were falling too, the legs everytime i pose the set they fall, the weist with that terrible joint falls every second......
The only problems with mine are the left hip to leg joint gets loose easily and the waist is annoying because it shifts to easily. It was my second kit I made. My first MG will not have a big thing on its back for sure.
My only complaint about the strike freedoms design is the ugly hip rail guns. The freedoms rail guns look cooler I don't get why the design was changed for those guns.
You know after building the freedom, I took a look back and forth at the two and realized why I dislike the head on the strike freedom. Its the cheek plates, they seem reversed. The bottom part is supposed to stick out a bit more, however its reversed where the top part of the cheek plate is pointing out more. I don't know why they did it but I highly dislike it
I want to like this suit, cause it's not bad looking. But then I remember all the bullshit that surrounds it's introduction and I start to hate it again.
And y use that mentality? Like the mecha how it looks, non of the show stuff really matters if you like the model/design e.g. Im not gonna dislike a good sick looking sports car because some greedy corporate bastard drives one
Cause I'm one of those weird people that likes the story's Gundam more then the kits. So what happens in the show paints how I feel about certain suits. and the bad writing, character assassination, the unsubtle corporate meddling, not to mention the actual introduction of the Gundam it self being lack luster just keeps me from enjoying the Strike Freedom. that, and I hate Kira, but that really doesn't matter, since I do like the Strike and Freedom Gundam. Hell, I got the Freedom 2.0 MG on my shelf. I mean if me hating the pilots did matter I'd hate the Zeta and Destiny as well, and I do not.
