Hi Kim, former teacher here. I've dealt with a lot of flaws in classrooms and a little paint always makes things look and feel better, so painting your storage doors and bookshelves was a great idea! And yeah, if you have mold, you definitely need to have the custodial staff take care of that for you. If you need to level your desk or move the filing cabinet to a place where the floor is uneven, there are furniture levelers on Amazon and at Walmart, or wooden shims at Lowe's or Home Depot that you can slide under whatever piece of furniture you need to level. Also if you don't want to use expensive bulletin board paper, you can always use flat bed sheets which don't fade and are easy to staple and cut after you get them pulled tight on the bulletin board. They come in so many colors you can fit with any decor. Just throw them in the dryer with a wet towel first, so you don't have the square folds in them.

I wouldn’t go reprinting the posters from the library. They look just fine.
I love to paint things in my classroom! Make sure to use 1-2 coats of clear on top so they'll last longer! Even though they're old, you want to keep them looking great!❤
@@sbivens71 I was wondering about that after I saw how it dried! I might even try some spray paint clear coat so I don't have to do so much. 🤣

Well, I didn't have very long to decorate last year since I started in kindergarten! :(
I love the green. I think if you decide to paint the blue wall, you should do it green.
