Hey Daz, Sorry about your accident. Hopefully, you'll get her fixed up pretty soon. It looked like it was flying pretty good until part of that bando jumped out in front of your quad. I underestimated the performance quality because of the price. Great video, even though the quad got smashed.

Hey Daz, quick question: wld u recommend using a 650 mAh 3S lipo with it? the bat weighs around 62g and idk if its weight will affect its flight in freestyle. Wld rly appreciate ur advice!
I soldered the TBS crossfire receiver like you did but the controller not respond above the axe switches only the Gimbals are working.

Hello Mr. I am aware of it that the Baby Ape is a 2 - 3s drone by recommendation. However, I would like to know what happens when you try a 1s battery on it. Will it power up and arm at all ? Take off at all ? I have been asking other Baby Ape 3 inch owners this same question with only various inconsistent opinions as to how it will respond, but no actual test - so far. What is your opinion ? Would you check ?

I just ordered one, and tbh I have no idea how to put any receiver on a quad - since I'm completely new to fpv.
Can I bind this quad to my Radiomaster out of the box?

no - not out the box... this one comes without a receiver in it.. so I use crossfire I put a crossfire receiver in it - if you are using frsky you would put a frsky receiver in it

To be fair just watching it back you clearly hit the ceiling bars directly with the top plate, but Jesus it flew nice. That bando looks like it would be epic for a bit of racing, throw a bit of netting over the wall holes and boom you could put loads of gates and cross tracks.
I’ve had bad experience with Darwin fpv they sent me a dead on arrival and I’ve never been able to get in contact with them because they’ve never responded

I actually have their old 3in quad and I love it, it was SO cheap!!

The camera of the non-pro version is really disgusting On the other hand, the Pro version that I own is really a very good drone for learning to repair and learn to fly with a small 3 inch Which nevertheless has the behavior very close to the 5 inches
