I had never heard of the parade of homes until I watched your vlogs last year. But my old town used to do something similar but it wasn't with newly built homes, it was with homes of important people in the community. My family had our house in it one year when my dad was mayor, it's a super cool thing. Love you guys!! ❤️

I'm seriously suuuch a sucker for big, beautiful houses and house tours. Like a little bit obsessed. On more than several occasions, I'd just drive around the really, really nice parts of town and just fawn over the beautiful houses, even just the outside. Sigh. Maybe I'll be a millionaire someday and get the dream house! We'll see!
You guys should do a "what I wish I knew before building a house" video because you always talk about things you may not like as much as you though you would or say how you wish you would've... fill in the blank! I think it would be fun to watch and helpful for a lot of people!

Near the south (for example, St George where they are) it's quite dry and hot, typical southwest desert climate, so yes, lots of sunshine year round. :)
Down in St. George is hot all year round, but up in Salt Lake, Provo area it's freezing in the Winter but really hot in Summer
