no dude, back then the rev was the ONLY fast ghost! all the other ghosts you could outrun!

Ahhh the old lobby, many minutes spent stacking the spray paint cans waiting for my buddy to get back lol love new phasmo but this version will always be special

My point still stands, that the dev team should release the beta version on steam. Like the Terraria devs.
It would for sure bring back my friends to the game. But I can’t play this game alone, progression system is terrible.

the old bus was thousand times better, thats one of the things i miss the most.
IMO they should bring back a revamped asylum. it wasnt a bad map- it was just alot of long, unbroken hallways and everything looked the same. if u had a hallway ghost it was GG
my fav part of the map was being able to roam around and talk to people while there was a ghost hunt on the other side of the map and not really be worried about it finding you
i would either just cut the map in half, or make each room distinguishable and cut the long hallways up so itll be easier to find the ghost if its in the hallway
There was an old 'cheat' when playing multiplayer. One person adds every item then leaves, go back to that private game and every item that you placed is still in the game and you have all your items still. The only downside was that you could not see the items until it was picked up by someone else and placed down.
No items lost if you died.
45 secs ago,but whenever I see a phasmophobia vid from insym I know it’s a banger(love the other vids as well I just play a lot of phasmo that’s why)keep up the great work!👍🏻

I miss old tanglewood and ridgeview and asylum... even the shop. it's way too complicated now, they could ahve added loadouts in a much simpler way
Feel like the way that they tried to fix the weird shop was to make it even more complicated than it was before

took a minute to figure out how the shop works but its not that bad now, i just dont like how whoever is lobby host, it always forces their tier of the basic items

Phasmophobia is a game I always really want to play until I start actually playing it (in VR). I just end up freaking out and have to take my headset off 😂😂

You should ask for an even older version, such as the earlier build given to some high name CZcamsrs back then, as those versions had even more stuff in them such as the ghost locking inside doors during ghost events, and actually having to use the keys you would find around the houses.
i wish the keys were useful 😭

i have bought phasmo a long time ago on steam, but sadly i had to also find a cracked (pirated) version to play this old version which i really really hate to do, i wish they could just do like minecraft where you can swap between versions or do some kinda other free dlc idk :(
I remember in Vr you could put your head on the floor during hunts and you were always protected lol
I think while the game is on its way to a 1.0 release and all of the important stuff has been added already and most of the annoying bugs fixed, they should add the old Asylum as a secret Backrooms-type easter egg map where the objective isn't to find the ghost type but to escape the map while a unique, ultra roamy ghost wanders the halls itching to hunt you down.
I miss the days of having the book on your belt (In VR) and the ghost writing in it without you putting it down XD Found the ghost room accidentally a few times from it.

You know what would be cool? You know how they mention a ghost removal team in some of the descriptions. What if they added that as a DLC or a new game.
For those who don't know phasmophobia is basically name of a real phobia which means fear of ghost
one glitch I noticed is that if you change your resolution from, let's say, 2560x1440 165hz to 2560x1440 60hz, the extra frames still get rendered. it has no difference 😭

Bleasdale & Grafton dont need to be reworked. I understood when they said they were going to rework asylum even though I was bummed that it meant that they were taking it out of the game. Their reasoning was that the map was too large & no one ever played it. But there is no reason to rework Bleasdale & Grafton. If they want to change the maps that much they should just make 2 new maps with a similar theme. Id much rather have more maps than spending all of their time reworking beloved maps. It doesnt make any sense.
why, WHY cant they just add this version as the beta branch in steam, i have it pirated but can only play it solo. idk whats stopping the devs from taking example from minecraft and terraria, making older versions available in the launcher
These devs are a bunch of hard asses. They also won't allow modding in any way except re-shading. They take years just to develop a single map. If it wasn't for Phasmo pioneering a whole new genre of horror gaming, the game would have died long ago...

there is a way with steam db, you need to put in some work to get it, I made a Launcher for the old phasmo because I also modified it and added new custom maps and many fun things but obv cant give this out cuz I might get in trouble xd

Game devs should leave some funny bugs, as long as they don't break game functionality and aren't annoying. That's what many people like and laugh about. "Funny game bugs" compilation videos are liked by many players to watch too.
I remember how chaotic the Oni back then before being patched, the Oni defo took Psycho's name a run for its money lol. Thanks Insym for some nostalgia!

imo old phasmo was scarier and much more charming, seems most things they added did not improve the game, made it worse in many ways

Gets kinda annoying seeing people asking how to get this version when he literally says that, really, only content creators get access to the old versions.

This, again, isn't original build of phasmo. Early build didn't have Jinn, Yurei and Oni.
