- Welcome to Doll Impostor! This is a new Observation Duty game where you have to find the haunted doll. It's really satisfying to complete all the different difficulties and that's exactly what we're doing in this video! ENJOY!

Not showing names on "Normal" difficulty is insane - it seems like it'd take hours to learn every doll's name and identify them by looks.
Imagine how much harder it would've been if chat wasn't there to help, that is NOT normal difficulty, seems like Insym remembered them well enough though
Playing it myself it's not hard at all, normal difficulty shows the picture of the dolls as well so it's quite easy actually, took me 3 games to memorize most of the dolls
Actually, the names are pretty much insignifficant. What matters is clues and likes/dislikes with friends/enemies. You will get the name eventually if you find most of the clues anyway.
Impostor doll with impostor syndrome:
"Maybe I'm not worth being the killer. I'm just an ugly little doll. The others deserve the role much more than me.
I should probably just wait for another doll to gain sentience and do the killing, that way I won't mess it up."
34:05 was the first jumpscare that actually got me in several weeks. Insym has the utter unmitigated gall to say "that didn't get me at all."
And then gets his ass handed to him at 36:35 by the exact same jumpscare. KARMAAAAAAA

The beta for the new daycare map is available. New set of dolls too and a new mixture mode where you can mix the dolls.

The impostor killing themselves isn't possible, as far as I know. It would kind of defeat the whole purpose, since the point is that the doll will kill you if you get it wrong, which obviously won't happen if they take themselves out first.

I love the vibe of this game, especially in the first map. The gray scale and just a few coloured items make it special, even if the assets are commonly used amongst the other horro games. And the dolls looks great, full of personality. It just needs some polish, main menu and winning screan definetly can break thhe mood, but dang, those dolls really convinced me to get this game.
And hot dang, the number of languages that this game was translated to is impressive!

you got me to buy a game you played finally hahaha, usually i don't try out games myself but this one really hooked me.
The dev actually just released a beta for the next update which includes a new map! Update officially comes out on june 10th :)

Did the map bug out and make him lose? At 1:14:38 the actions list balls and confuse as likes, but Erika absolutely dislikes these during the game around 1:09:00-ish.

@@edsbegaming507 Yes, but the in-game description is supposed to show the actual likes/dislikes that were randomly given, not the static ones from the normal gamemode.
You can clearly see that Erika doesn't like balls, and yet she does that event. That would make sense if she liked to confuse, but according to the whiteboard, she doesn't like that either.

Looks like a fun little puzzle horror game. Though I still don't think it's creepy enough for my taste. Maybe a mode where you can actually get killed/attacked or something similar when you look around for clues. But I'm might a misleader/(imposter). It's just my personal preferences. Maybe others feel differently.
Also there should be a way to pick the target instead of clicking down ever doll it's not. Like if you click and hold for a few seconds, you then X out the others beside the one you clicked (or even easier, just make a circle the one you clicked.)
You should do the roulette just like phasmo

If your looking for a game similar to The Forest and that would have a very long series, i reccomend the game Grounded on steam. Its basically 'Honey I Shrunk The Kids' as your trying to survive in a massive backyard as a shrunken kid. Its a super fun game with story, lore, collectables, boss fights, you name it. I highly recommend and would love if you checked it out!
