Last I checked, the audit option is time limited. So if a course says it typically takes 4-6 weeks, the material is only available for 6 weeks, after that u lose access & have to pay.

First you have to create an account.
Then search for the course you want to enroll in. Go to the home page of your desired course.
Look for the button that says enroll now. Don't click on it. Somewhere near the button, you will find the option for financial aid. Click on it and fill out the form. Once you have submitted the form, Coursera would review your responses and if you are eligible, they will grant you financial aid.

Also, if you really want to learn, you can do it without certificates too. At the end, what matters are your skills and not number of certificates! Good luck!
