11:10 Lmao Seungmin is just extremely honest and in phase with his feelings. He also has a great emotional intelligence so he know when his compliments and affection are the most needed and useful. He does not say good things if it's not necessary so it makes it even more special when he does. He is not embarrassed to say how much he loves someone, he just does not express it for no reason
Watching older clips reminds me of how fairly recent Seungmin's constant Chan roasting is LOL.
Also, the wide shoulder thing is actually a masculine body ideal in Korea! So when they constantly mention it about Chan, it's a genuine compliment haha.
I thought the same for a while, but then I rewatched when they visited Chan's home on "Chan's Tour." Chan showed them all his childhood memories, and Seungmin rated it a 3.5 and "slightly disappointing" 😅
Chan is such a sweet soul. It's hard to find someone like that in a position like that and he's still grounded and full of love for STAY and SKZ. I love your commentary so much on how much they all love Chan
Most people don't realize the magnitude and difficulty of being a "good/great leader" and why it's actually an amazing feat to actually be considered one. There are so many people in "leadership" positions in our lives like parents/elders, bosses, teachers, gov't/law enforcement officials etc. Some use controlling dictator style forms of leadership, some are too passive as leaders and are easily manipulated, walked all over and lose control of their team. It's really difficult to find the balance of "perfect leadership". I know I'm going on a bit of a tangent but please hear me out. It's very rare to find a leader who you can truly respect, look up to, laugh with and trust to make decisions for you without feeling like you're being controlled. Chan is one of those rare people who you respect his opinions, listen to his advice, get scolded by, but don't feel disrespected when he's doing it, and feel that everything he says has a purpose and is for your own good and because he wants the best for you. It's very rare to find that type of leadership/friendship relationship. When we chant "Best Leader" to Chan... we truly freakin' mean it. It's not just fake flattery bcuz he's famous and we're fans. He really is a rare breed of leader that the world needs more of to be honest...

No one loves Chan more than the kids itself. They adore Chan so much that's why no wonder skz as a whole has so much love to give cuz that's what chan wants it, to give love and appreciate each one who love them.

they didn't include it in the video but jeongin has said to chan that if it weren't for him, jeongin thinks he wouldn't have been able to debut at all. jeongin was in the younger group of trainees and could only come to the company on weekends when he wasn't at school, so he didn't have as much time there as the rest of the members. but despite being young, chan said he saw something in jeongin and wanted to turn him and his talent into a beautiful painting, thus choosing him for skz. jeongin and chan's overall bond is one of the most wholesome in stray kids in my opinion, they truly have nothing but love and gratitude for each other

it's still hilarious seeing Chan having a system error when receiving affection.
The dichotomy of Seungmin (and on the similar level Lee Know and Changbin too) in relation to Bang Chan is one of my favourite because you'll see him dragging Chan's ass for his age like it's his job and the rent is due, but the second you look away he's making sure Chan is being fed when they're cooking and that he has someone to talk to and agressively cuddle if necessary.
Dunno what's your current situaton with 2Kids Room or if ya ever plan on watching, but I HIGHLY recommend even in your own time. Some things said there helps a lot with understanding the members even better.
ALSO CONGRATS ON THE PUPPYYY. Be patient with it, it will be worth it

I've always said that about Chan too! He's definitely DEDICATED to his craft! Not too many people would stick around after 7 years!!! He left his family, friends and country to follow his dreams!! Hes an amazing young man and he found his family in his 7 kids!!!
