    Using a bandsaw with no guard on a slippery product. Use a garden hose for the added touch.

    Clear ice is the only way to go. Very easy to do on home scale, but this is next level!!

      @@poginip There are a lot of CZcams videos on clear ice. Look up "directional freezing". It's pretty easy.

      You should see a dedicated ice plant, some of our customers have more than 100 of these machines running in a single facility!

    using a bandsaw to cut the blocks into cubes? We use a bandsaw to cut into slabs, and then transfer over to table saws to cut into the cubes.

    • @ryanellis5960
      @ryanellis5960 Před 8 měsíci

      We use a chainsaw or horizontal band saw to make manageable loafs. We hand cut everything else via bandsaw. Hope this helps!

      @@ryanellis5960 interesting. A difference in methodology, I guess. We use the horizontal bandsaw to cut full blocks into two inch thick slabs, and then take them over to the table saws to cut the slabs down into the cube sizes we need. I'm curious what your reasoning is for doing everything on bandsaw and chainsaw vs. using table saws.

    The water comes from a garden hose? Ehhh hmm. Just thought it it be a copper pipe, or like filtered, or pvs or something without that rubber taste
