    I appreciate that you tried to redo this tutorial, and this is just some feedback for all your videos for beginners, I'm still finding it hard to follow you, as a beginner I really need you to explain what you're doing with your hands because your hands block your work, what i mean for example, when you are using the 2 cords, I just need you to explain how you are tying the knot or slowly show where the cords are going into each other because I'm having to rewind up to 5 times just to see what you are doing, I do love your work and you have beautiful work, but that's all I ask, if you could just explain or show what you're doing with your hands 👍

      You can slow down the video speed. She is essentially using double half hitch knot.

      I agree. Even slowing down the video doesn't help. It is a repeating pattern and I am trying to get the logic, which slowing down only hinders as you lose sight of the pattern. If you take time with the first diamond to explain in more details, it would be so much more helpful.

      With a lot of perseverence and with the help of two other videos, I finally got it and managed to complete an hourglass shape! Once you wrap your head around it, it's not that difficult, but I still think the explanation could be broken down in a better way. Nevertheless, I'm grateful for the nice pattern and making the effort to share it with us!

    Thank you for this, I used to macrame when I was a child but that's been 40 years ago and can't remember how. I've had my interest sparked recently to start macrame, hopefully it helps me with nerves...lol.

    Thank you for posting this video. I am currently working on the 2 part intermediate macrame piece you posted. My diamonds did not look the same. They didnt look bad just not the same. I will have to re-do but I'm ok with that 😍 Thank you! 😍

    This may not make sense but every time I tie a knot it wants to turn backwards. It' like I have to fight to make the knot form. I don't understand what I'm doing wrong. I can happen on either side and no matter how I try to tie it I have to force the knot not to turn over. I would love to know why it's doing this.

    still really hard to keep up. I get really confused when you say ”using the same cord” can’t you just say if you mean the middle one or the rear left/right 🤦🏼‍♀️😟

    Hi, I came from 2 part video you post, on the end of my work with diamonds knots, the end of cords don't be the same, one got too much longer than others, I already did a lot of times but this always happens.

    I get the pattern but what I’m not picking up is when you take the filler cord behind or in front of the working cord. Are you alternating (taking one in front and one behind and then repeating)? Your hands work too fast for me to tell when you’re sticking in front vs going behind

  • @tma110510
    @tma110510 Před 4 lety +5

    Pardon me, but I don’t happen to catch your movements 😰. They’re fast .

      You can go into the settings on the bottom right (Gear icon) and click Playback speed, it's on normal as a default. Play with those speeds to see what helps you to view it as a pace that better suits you.

      @tma110510 Před 4 lety +2

      Rose Kay thank you for your kind advice , I know this feature. The matter is at some moments hands cover cords, movements aren’t clear enough for me. Never mind! I learnt this technique from another tutorial . I love variety and videos of Chantal any way )

      Yeah. This diamond pattern tutorial almost has brought me to tears I’m so frustrated I cannot follow it. Regardless of slowing down the speed.
