At 15:49: "you don't have to add the chocolate chips". I know what all those words mean, but even after replaying it several times, the sentence simply does *NOT* compute!
Butter and cinnamon in mashed sweet potato kicks my late night cravings!!!! I haven't tried to cook them in the instant pot yet, but I will now!
I've got to go back to the office in June... I'm not looking forward to have to start meal prepping again. I like working from home lol.
After a year away from traffic and going to the office I am almost afraid to drive again, let alone all the added expense of a commute. This last year has been wonderful for me, and has me rethinking my future job choices. Patiently waiting to see how this all plays out.

My first thought when I saw the title “don’t you mean efficient food prep” lol
I made your no knead bread today for the first time. It was very good for a first try. The inside was a little too dense, but overall we loved it, especially the crust. I also made the butter beef in my pressure cooker and served it with mashed potatoes. Dinner was a huge success!

Busy homeschool mom of three plus a toddler here. I hit my 40’s last year and I’m NOT taking care of myself like I should. (Honestly, I am my last priority.) It’s too easy for me to slip into fast/convenient meals over healthy, especially when it’s all they want anyway. This video gave me some great motivation and inspiration. (I so wish you were my neighbor so I could go work out with you and you could whip me into shape! 😂) I’ve got to do something for myself before it literally kills me. Love your videos, keep them coming please. ❤️

Thanks for the easy cooking for Sweet Potatoes. The packet said 40mins to roast, but 12 mins in the IP and they were done! I'm too am neither frugal, fit or a mum, but I love easy recipes, as I don't like cooking.
I also ❤ sweet potatoes! I just do them inthe mucrowave like I would a russet potato. Adding cinnamon and sime butter makes them mahvelous!
The brownie bowl consistency kinda reminds me of chocolate mousse. Looks tasty.

The reason is my sister needs more help since she is dairy free and gluten free and we would like to see more options to see if we are missing anything to be more of a wholesome meals
Lots of fruits and vegetables, and a protein. I have celiac, lactose intolerance and am allergic to eggs. Stay away from prepackaged and gf pasta is expensive, that will save you $$. Good luck, these dietary restrictions aren't cheap.
I'm lactose intolerant and very few influencers consider this as it does not impact their lives. Momma friendly has some, look at her play lists. :)
@mirandarunningonplants does everything dairy free, she also includes quite a few gluten free meals as well!

I love budget meals and food prep. Trying to learn how to cook and save money.
You mention not liking mushrooms partly because of texture. Try buying dried mushrooms and grinding them like pepper they add a ton of flavor and protein plus many other health benefits depending on the mushroom. I am not a big fan of the " earlobe" texture either but love dried and powdered mushrooms.

I LOVE my Misen pan, I got a small one from a kickstarter for eggs and it has been a favorite of mine. I got it in 2019 and it still looks as wonderful as the day I got it! :) Will definitely replace my pans slowly with more of them.

I like to make a meal over night in the crockpot. I use it for dinner the next day or for packing lunches. Just reheat and voila! Huge time saver. 👍
I'm been rather sick lately (just ordinary Aussie "winter is coming" bug lol)... and I remember you saying several times to prep all the health and fitness so it will be eaten. I did that and I ate good food while sick with little effort 😉 thankyou for being a little voice in my head 🤣

Brussle sprout, and bacon in the air fryer then drizzle maple syrup or balsamic glaze. 🤤 It's the absolute best way to have brussles!

that’s my fav way to make them! instead of air fryer, I roast them and add honey, balsamic vinegar, and cranberries 🤤🤤🤤
I like them better if they are shaved rather than in chunks. You can mandolin them or put them in your food processor with the slicing blade. more surface area to crisp up :)
Meal prep? You mean leftovers??? I am honestly thrilled that leftovers got a makeover because I often make meals for just the leftovers
I sometimes make a meal specially for the freezer. These days I have a few one serving portions of lasagna.

@@antiantipoda I make a couple of portions of lasagna for the the freezer and then have bolognese for eating that night and the fridge.
We’re retired so I really don’t have to meal prep, but some nights I let the hubster “cook” by pulling out a pre-made chicken spaghetti casserole or lasagna! Convenient to do at least part of the work in advance (precook hamburger or chicken). I also dehydrate bell peppers, green onions and potato slices for soups and casseroles and it saves time chopping.

Christine, have you tried baking the sweet potatoes whole? They come out creamy and deeper in flavor, no need for salt or fat. I line the bottom rack with foil, preheat the oven to 425, throw them whole on the top rack, and bake for 30-40 minutes (until an air pocket appears between the flesh and skin when I press on one with my finger). Turn down the heat to 350 and roast 30-40 more minutes until a fork goes through the center easily. I can do a huge bag of costco sweet potatoes this way and then I scoop, portion and freeze them. It's my favorite with scrambled eggs!

I don't have the moolah to buy extra stuff like a food scale, so back when doing weight watchers, I found that if I measured a cup, half cup, quarter cup etc, I measured then took out a little bit so it was just under the measure...I was able to lose the weight. I eat by sight, so I tend to way overeat...measuring serving sizes is key to dropping extra pounds. Thanks for great content!

i made your homemade granola and it's so good. i leave it at work with some vegan yoghurt for easy, but yummy breakfasts every day.
Protein powder hack for you.....put it in a bowl with som fresh fat free yogurt and crushed berries,give it a mixarooney and empty into a container and into the freezer and you will have a healthy sin food...you can wild with the flavour combos and buy certain protein powder flavours just to make frozen yougurt like chocolate protein powder,cocoa powder and and cherries in syrup and have black forest frozen yogurt
I was not a fan of Brussels sprouts per say but I found that If you cut the cores, the leaves will come off and you you fry up in ghee and add salt and it is just so good.
That breakfast though!!! So much veg, such a great idea!
Do you wash and reuse the prep containers? I feel like there would be SO much waste when meal prepping if everything was thrown away.

I love your channel. You are into budgets and health. I have been on a life Jounery since October. Lost 71 lbs right now. Also I budget shop to. At my kroger I learned from 930 to 11 in the morning is when most mark downs happen. I would love a freezer because sometimes I find great deals but only have so much space. If it to good to past up I call a friend who needs help so we fill up her freezer. Thanks for all that you do. Hey got any healthy but good recipes for acron squash got some at farmer market they are such nice ones.
Try cutting cauliflower in thick slices and roast. Flip once. They cook evenly and when you pour into a serving dish they will break up.
