I leave the crust on because after I put the slices on the griddle I take a spoon and gently put the remaining egg mix on the bread before I flip it. The crust helps keep the egg mix on the bread. Do it slowly and be patient. The bread will absorb all the mix , you can trim the crust after if you want. Add a little vanilla to the egg mix.✝️✌️

How do I know when the egg inside is cooked?
It won't be. Try using a meat thermometer. If the middle is 170*+ it's cooked. Or just do a single slice of bread 🍞
