Just bought a replacement. I lent the original to a friend and it is now glued to the inside of his powered glider's battery bay. The sound carries quite a way. Same make too.

I got one for my drift car because the esc has no low voltage cut off and I love it! It comes everywhere with my batteries.
Yeah I've notice that most of the toy grade RC cars that I've reviewed have no LVC. They'll run until you drain the battery completely, damaging the battery. These are essential for such cars.
Quadcopter 101 well, mine is not toy grade, I got the esc from Gearbest for $10, so that's probably why.
Good video review of something that has been around for a long time.
Keep in mind that this channel is mainly intended to help new fliers enter this hobby. They likely may not be aware of this.

I’ve also been looking into Bluetooth technology to find a small lightweight system to find a lost drone as well , right now the best I got is a de constructed Bluetooth speaker that was powered by a 3.7v 900mah , I found it to connect to my iPhone from over 100 feet away & when it was behind a solid block wall under a thick bush it connected at around 20 feet so that range is not to bad considering everything involved , if one has an old Bluetooth speaker that is also powered by a 3.7v battery like alot of 1s toy drones then you can take out the guts of the speaker because you can’t lift the drone unless the system is only but a few grams it NEEDS TO BE LIGHT and install the micro chip and one of the small speakers to the drone and you may have yourself a sound location device , my Bluetooth speaker only stays on for 5 minutes after powered on and it will try to find a phone to connect to that has Bluetooth icon on or that has already be connected before to the speaker ,it will also stay on for 5 minutes after it has been disconnected from an iPhone and it will try in the mean time to reconnect for that 5 min & if it doesn’t connect to a device it will shut down , so if your only flying within that 100 foot ranges I would keep the Bluetooth connected at all times so if you do crash the drone you will have 5 minutes to get within the 100 feet range of the Bluetooth and once your connected it will stay on until the battery dies or if it disconnects again it will power off after that 5minute thing I mentioned , so you can play music or any sound you wish to play through the Bluetooth while trying to find it ,you also have yourself a toy drone that plays music HOW BAD ASS ! Haha

Maybe these can be used a a device to find a lost toy drone , if it continuously beeps when it hits its set low voltage until you fully disconnect the battery or or it dies completely & so say you flew it into someone’s backyard or lost it somehow you could just wait a few minutes in the area and wait for it to beep and try to find it , cause installing a drone buzzer on a toy drone is not easy cause the remotes have no other functions to control or switch on an alarm to find a lost drone .
That's the idea in its design. To be plugged into a drone to beep on low voltage or lost drone.
Why didn't the B3 come with a Beeper? I think the controller beeps right? I forget. I been flying the 8 Pro full time now. and that beeps when low....so does the 6 & the 8 basic version...
I fill the speaker ports with hot glue to mute the beeping, which can get annoying when testing a pile of batteries. Also, for those who may be afraid, you don't have to worry about connecting a battery wrong. These devices are idiot proof.
If I can I'd have a little off topic question: how can I guess the difference kind of motors' power from the specs of drones? Let's say the detail I find on Amazon. My goal is to guess if a drone can carry a cam even a light one RunCam-kind but only for landscape filming, no fpv or race purposes. My beloved Syma X8HG has no problems to carry just about anything (and the stock camera is really good already) but if looking for a more compact, possibly foldable, drone, is there a way to guess? I mean like horse power in a car can predict performances. I can only tell the difference between brushed and brushless and the milliamperes of the batteries. Someone? First of all: thank you for the answer! In deeds is quite complicated but at least now I can take the KV as an indicator (with all the due variables). About cameras to lift: nowadays thanks to those runcam-mobius-foxeer like lightweights I gues even a medium quad can carry one, at least those with the stock 2MPX or worst 0,3 MPX attached, after all the weight is just about the same...

Sounds great and inexpensive. I have a Bugs 2SE and my controller warns me when my battery is running low. Would i need this voltage beeper?
Only to test your voltage before a flight in case you're wondering if you properly charged the battery. Or maybe after a flight to see what the residual voltage was.

I second MyBigThing. All you need is a small soldering iron, some flux and solder --which often comes together in one package. It really is easy once you get into it. Have well lit space and use magnets to keep hold of loose screws. Make the repair where if you drop a part it wont get lost in the carpet or crack in the floor. Easy easy.
Only downside, it will not beep with 1s batteries.

It alarms after it has been stationary for 30 sec or so. I recovered my Vortex with it and I use it on my XKA1200 plane as well.
I'm confused,nothing new,lol.If you connect this to the quads battery,how do you connect the battery to the quadcoptor? My Cheerson batttery only has the one lead.

Thanks. I need to rephrase the question,sorry about that. If I velcro the beeper/tester to the quadcoptor,then attach the battery to it so it reads,then where do you attach the battery lead from the quadcopter too?
There are normally two battery leads for multi cell batteries, the balance plug (which goes into the voltage reader) and the main power plug which plugs into the quadcopter. But for small quadcopters that use single cell batteries (3.7V batteries), this isn't really applicable as they don't have two leads. However you can still read the battery voltage before and after a flight.

Wouldn't recommend, better of setting a 3 minute time depending on how you fly
