Fun fact: Jake Kaufman was the composer for this game, who you may know for him being the composer on Shovel Knight, Mighty Switch Force, The Shantae series, and OK KO Let’s Be Hero’s!
Another fun fact: Paul Chinn originally made this in the Spring of 2000 as a homebrew available for download on his website. However though, someone in the Gameboy developer community decided to tell Majesco Sales, the company that had the rights to port the game to the handheld. The result? Chinn was invited to enhance his port with the aid of Majesco's in-house development studio, Pipe Dream Interactive, into a commercial product.
They should make a new installment in the Q-bert franchise. It's a classic concept, and I don't think many games have copied it (yet). Besides, imagine the possibilities if you could play this online with/against friends at the same time...

This game is a must have for classic gamers who really enjoy the oldie but goodie games from the 80s.

Funny that the guy who made this Soundtrack would work on Shovel Knight, Mighty Switch Force, and Shantae.
He was also 18 or 19 at the time. Pretty impressive!
