How To: Hyundai Veloster Door Panel Removal

- In this video I show you how to remove the driver side door panel and I briefly go over how to remove the passenger side panel as well as the rear door. The process is essentially the same across all current generation 2012-2016 Velosters. Enjoy.

Was the passenger removal the same? Or did you need to take the panel with the window button off?

My window gets all jammed up when i roll it up sometimes, so i have to push on it from the outside to have it go up all the way when it happens. I also have a blown speaker🤦♀️😅 .. so I'm gonna have a fun day dealing with all that hahah. With how detailed your video is tho, it helps me a looott! Thanks man💜

because i am planning to install a lights in the speaker like yours. theres a water leaking in my door panel.
now i can check it by myself. my dealership told me that it will cost me $300 on each door to fix that problem.
now maybe i can resolve that issue.

Paint can lid opener works great with the removal of the cover behind the door handle.

Very helpful video I just have two questions. 1) How did you go about painting the plastic trim and if you had to sand it down. 2) Did you have to do anything special to paint the leather parts of the door.
thanks! my driver side window sometimes gets stuck going up(halfway). got to check to see if its the regulator or the window channel. also, do you have a video on how to replace the fuel filter? I have a 2015 Veloster turbo. Thanks again!
My 2014 window is doing the same thing.it will stick and i have to bring it down and then back up and it works but I want to get it fixed..did you figure out what the cause of this and how much is the repair?

How do you paint the trim by the door handle. I know behind it is a few screws and plastic rivets. Would I tape off the trim or is there a different way around it. Thanks

My drive side door won't open, only my passenger side door open (with key fob or actual key). Any advice on how to fix it?
If I wanted to buy those fancy blue panels you have on your interior door handles for example what would I search for/where would I search for it? Is "trim tool" the proper name for that tool? If I wanted to buy it what would it be called.
The passenger Side is different, doesn't have the screw in the arm rest. Does this mean it doesn't have that, or that It's somewhere else. The rear passenger door has it.
How did you painted the inside of the head light?
I hope someone can help! I got the door panel off thanks to this video, however, whoever took the door apart before me did not replace the bolts so, my trim is held on by the one screw behind the door handle and the clips. I found the bolts online for cheap but the shipping is $75 😂😂 so, trying to find locally but am not having much luck. I know from the video that the head is 10mm but don’t know anymore details. Does anyone know what length and thread width these are?

But but but where is the window tracks?? My widow dropped off the tracks and omg I guess I will see what to do when I get the panel off.

Speakers tend to blow or deteriorate. So I don't know why the companies decide to make it such a pain to replace the speakers. Its like a big 'fuck you' to my face. Oh well...
So did you plasti dip your speaker grill covers?
No I painted them.
What kind of paint/primer did you use?
MZiladelphia VA It has been a while but I believe it was Krylon Paint and also Krylon Primer. I cant remember the specific name that was on the can though. If I can find the paint can today I will update this.
please upload a video of how you painted the dash or at least how you remove the parts of the dash
Theres more than one way to paint auto trim and honestly, if I ever re-paint mine, I likely wont do it the same way as before. As for removing the dash parts, I actually had another viewer ask for the same thing. Its definitely going to be my next video.
