I believe the Queen is always driven because of security concerns and she always picks one member of the family to join her in the car. Usually it's her daughter-in-law Sophie (Edward's wife) but this time it was Camilla. Since the Queen is always in the car, Philip always leads the family to walk the 5 minute walk from the main house to the church and back. He does really well for a man of his age and health problems. No cane or anything!

Why does the Queen and Camilla get driven up to the walkway to the church, but the almost-100-year-old Philip have to walk up the drive with all the others? Surely he needs the drive, whether he admits it or not. If I reach my late 90's, I would hope that I could get dropped off at the church door rather than walk with the rest of the younger crowd. Then again, if I get to my late 90's, I won't be worrying about attending Church, period. :)

I believe the Queen is always driven because of security concerns and she always picks one member of the family to join her in the car. Usually it's her daughter-in-law Sophie (Edward's wife) but this time it was Camilla. Since the Queen is always in the car, Philip always leads the family to walk the 5 minute walk from the main house to the church and back. He does really well for a man of his age and health problems. No cane or anything!
Has it ever occurred to you that maybe it was his CHOICE to walk? Prince Philip, aside from looking like a Greek Adonis in his younger days, was in the Royal Navy prior to giving up his promising Naval Career to marry Elizabeth. FITNESS has always been important to him.

I got to watch this a few times and the rest of them are saying in their head please keep her away from me, please keep her away from me please keep me away from her. She doesn't know it but out of everybody there she's the least important. I did and this reminds me of that Christmas video where the guy kept moving away from Megan LOL the thing to remember was making it was totally accepted in the beginning but that engagement been interview was so uncomfortable and then they did the heads-up interview and it was worse. I want to know what happened to the footage of William standing at the podium speaking when Megan interrupted him and started talking.. how you don't have to not have Royal adequate to know you don't start speaking when someone is giving a speech.
