Now for something completely different (as Monty Python use to say)!
Number one: The larch
please do more i love this! so relaxing!!
@@bigt8420 Yes I am looking at different 'stuff'!
That was different. Interesting video. Can you read us a story or fairytales book next time please that would be perfect with your whisper
I will do more stories later. Look around the channel and you will see other stories I have done like my Europe travel reading my letters and snacking.
Your voice helped me a lot with my anxiety and stress. Now I can sleep peacefully!
Very relaxing💖
I am glad I could help!
Love the video, such a unique & relaxing one!
Great video😊 love your video! So relaxed
Just found this channel; and I love it! So wholesome 💜
Varushi Poonia will keep it wholesome !
💙💙💙 This was a great idea for a video. I love them all 😍
Good afternoon Erica!
Love the videos man they’re awesome love the diversity, and your whisper is very satisfying. An idea for a video is that you could do a story time with if you wanted to you could do a story time with a small snack
I will do that again later. Look around the channel and you will see I have done videos similar to that like my Europe stories. I also have 2 or 3 videos of poetry with snacks.
ASMR GRANDPA I was looking around the channel to see if I could find any so I suggested it but I would love to see mpre
Love it soo much, you deserve so much more subs!
Thanks Maseera. I left the light on in case they finally show up!
Your voice is so soothing, it's like silk to my ears. Keep it up! 😉
Silk?!?!?! 😍
I love that you’re doing something different! I enjoyed this video
I took a chance. Glad some of you like it!
Omg hi you have the most calmest voice ever and u like it painting in the back 💗💞
I finally got my background right!
Can't say enough that love your voice and videos so much!!
💜
Jasmine tea is lovely! I found a store that sells bulk spices that also carries jasmine flowers. I tried adding a few flowers to my jasmine tea and it brings out the jasmine flavor a bit more. Just thought I'd share this with you. Thank you for the relaxing video!
Yes, jasmine petals add lots of flavor.
Thank you so much for this video. I've always thought it is impossible to buy fairly small amounts of food in the usa. Your way of shopping for food is very European, sensible and smart. Your diet also seems to be healthy, which is wonderful. About the prices: I always try to get the best possible product available within a certain price range, but I also pay careful attention to the quality of meat products- I pick farm, gmo and antibiotic-free meat, which is not that expensive when you buy a pound instead of two :) On average I spend about 70$ a week on groceries for 2 people and my shopping list includes: veggies like tomatoes, bell peppers, potatoes onion, cucumbers, cabbage, eggplants, courgettes, leek, celery, parsley root that looks like white carrot, carrots, lettuce and cauliflower. They cost between 0.6$ a kg/2pounds up to 3$ a kg.
Dutch cheese, like Gouda cost 10$ a kg, local white cheese is about 3,7$ a kg, milk's a dollar a liter, 1lb of excellent quality bread is between 0,7 and 1,2$, chicken costs 2,5$ a kg, beef 15$ a kg, pork is around 8$, cold cuts like Italian prosciutto cost 1,5-2$ a 100grams (1/5lb)
an egg from a happy hen is 0.2$. Fruit like strawberries are only seasonal, but you can buy some artificial, imported ones during the winter time. But they're full of preservatives and have no taste. In wintertime we eat mainly blood oranges from Sicily, which I order online. They're bio and cheap, but you need to buy a cubotto, which is 12kg. They cost 26$ per cubotto, shipping included, so it's a bargain and they're absolutely delicious!
Very detailed report! I think you should make a video! Where do you live? I don't pay a lot of attention to prices but try to get 'all I need' rather than 'all I want'. I don't buy huge quantities esp as it gets thrown out if just 2 people. Looks like we get similar vegetables but I like broccoli too. I eat strawberries or some fruit daily. We just don't have peaches now until about May. We do have a nice farmers's market and it even has a cafe and that is usually a Friday lunch. Thank you for the time you put in for this with the great price data.
@@CHATTYGRANDPA I live in Poland :)
The vegetable market close to my place is very seasonal, so now there's a lot of kale, brussel sprouts and pickles available. I also eat a lot of apples, now mainly baked with a bit of caramel sauce ♡ Not a big fan of broccoli ;)
Please do more of these. Great video as always!
I will experiment more!
Hello! I've just found your channel and I love it...! New subs 👏🏻👏🏻✨💕✨
Hi Gloria!
Lovely video as always !!!
Thanks Sofia!
This indeed was a different type of video from the usual but I actually quite enjoyed this🙂you should do more of these
I will then!
Hi! I love these videos!! Please make more :)
Hi ASMR Grandpa! I like listening to you read. Can you experiment with speaking closer to the mic? Anyway, thanks for spending time with us!
I will do that too! I experiment a lot!
Glad to see no dislikes

Love your videos! Another good one ❤️
Trying new things besides just food reviews or eating!
ASMR GRANDPA I like your whisper, have you thought about reading your favorite book or something of that nature? That would be nice 😊
@@Siscus I would love that but can't read most newer books because of copyright so they would be older!
Nice video, love it!! ❤️
Glad you did!
Love it
Love the diversity of your videos

Hey Tripp how are u doing, I was wondering if u can do like breakfast meals? Do you take requests
I have simple breakfasts like cereal. I get a lot of requests. Thing is, I don't have big breakfasts.
💛💛💛
AMAZING how you are often first or one of first!
👍👍👍
That’s not a lot a groceries for two people, but I suppose if you go a couple of times a week 🤷🏼♀️ Our prices are a bit more expensive living in the suburbs of Indianapolis, unfortunately.
We are light eaters! I eat more and can eat anything and NEVER gain one ounce.... EVER! Yes ppl hate me! haha
ASMR GRANDPA 😏 ya, that’s not fair at all. I sniff calories and I gain weight 🤭🙄 Good you you both, though!!
I'm comparing the items you bought in 2020 vs buying them today in 2024 and the price difference isn't as much as a lot claim. I think it is because you bought a lot of fresh items. Some of the produce costs less by a bit today but that is likely due to seasonal differences. I'm in New York
that is surprising to hear!!!!
Very interesting hearing what other people buy 😊 I'm being nosey but do you live on your own as this doesn't seem like much food? I've only got a small family but have to buy loads more than this 🙈 although we never eat take out or anything like that so maybe that's the difference 😊
LOL! Just me and my wife since daughter got married 4 years ago. We both eat like birds! Yes, that is for 2 ppl for about a week!
@@CHATTYGRANDPA oh my you must do if that's for two! Although my partner has a very active job and my son is forever growing so they eat like horses...thanks for taking the time to reply 😊
2022
We love you in 🇬🇧♥️
And if you watch enough of my vids, you know I love GB!

Wow. Crazy seeing how cheap food used to be
I live in the San Fransisco bay area since you asked. :)
Lead was there a night in October 1977
@@CHATTYGRANDPA I hope you enjoyed it!
Lead did
Onions are very good for your blood...whatever that means....i love red (more accurately purple) onions
Yes we prefer red onions and in fact today requested it for a sub rather than white.
Grandpa i know it might be difficult but i think you should try to do a roleplay!
I will not rule it out at all! What do you think I should be?
@@CHATTYGRANDPA whatever you feel most comfortable acting out! We're not picky!
How are you doing grandpa?
Well enough!
Usualy 3rd world countries r a lot cheaper but then again the salaries r a lot lower
Yes I find that true
