I never understood or liked this song right up until today. It seemed so dated and cliche, but after seeing their interviews and then seeing videos of their performance, plus the staging, im starting to like this and its freaking me out! Lol.

This song and the album was inspired by the book Blood and Glitter about glam rock stars. Songs encompass metal sound and eighties references perfectly.
This track have a universal message, catchy, memorable lyrics, dense guitars, great vocals, groove. Everything that is needed
Well, this is a song for esc. It should be short and repetitive. And rock is that type of music that should sound better live, in concerts. You have to listen to Dry the rain, Blood for blood, Raining Star, Loreley, Morgana, Voodoo doll, Annabel Lee if you want something more complex.
@@lina-qu5jk yes I am aware, but you have music that is influenced by 80's culture, then you have music that isn't intended to sound 80's but comes across as dated. That's how this sounded to me......BUT, after seeing the stage show, I totally understand it. It works as a stadium rock act and I'm buying it.
@@jashaildew I didnt mention anything about it being short and repetitive? But yes, I hear you with regards to the timing constraints. I'm enjoying this for what it is, although I'm sure they have better material that I'm going to discover over the next week when I delve deeper in to their music post Eurovision!
@Amaan Storm this song was co-written with Rupert Keplinger, a songwriter that has written for almost any genre (even country). if you liked this song, I suggest you check him out as well. He plays bass and guitar in a couple bands (most known for Eisbrecher, almost as famous as Rammstein in Germany)

Working in stage lights being my fav job in theatre, I must say, they have done a stunning job in that! Only something goes off with the sound at some moments, which I hope won't happen in the actual event as Chris is killing it!

There can't be any glitter/confetti because the time between the acts is only 50 seconds and they wouldn't have time to clean everything up for the next act.

I think the music is to quiet. Like in the Vorentscheid it was really loud and there was a vibe. Here there missed something. Its not that loud as it should be
