I have owned both bikes. the Kenevo is so stable and holds it's line so precise. There is not really any more effort to ride a Kenevo. In fact, it took less effort due to how amazingly it handles all terrain and is always forgiving and stable. The Levo does handle a little quicker because of the head angle, and is very fast, however, the Kenevo doesn't handle badly at all. It just handles a little differently. The only thing i miss is the 29 inch rims that flatten the terrain, although they handle a bit slower and wagon-wheelish. Over all the Kenevo kills it in all categories and hands down is a better bike. I ride in Southern California with a lot of knarly down hill and technical stuff, fast and flowy stuff, and jumps. (the kenevo jumps so much better too). I loved my Levo, but the Kenevo opens a whole other level of riding.

The struggle is real! After months of internal debate I decided to go with the Levo Comp with the 700w battery. Did some upgrades to make it more of a enduro sled. Rear shock Cane Creek DB coil inline. Increased front fork travel to 170 with two tokens. Swapped bars and stem to One Up Components 35 ML carbon bars. Added Cush core rim inserts front and rear.

I purchased the Kenevo S3 2020. Your pro vs cons is spot on. If you want to jump bigger and go down faster on downhill trails the kenevo is your bike

This has been a really difficult decision for me but I am leaning towards the kenevo. Thanks for your honest reviews.

Thanks for the review of these two bikes. I'm an older X downhill racer in the USA and getting back in to it. Put a deposit down on The Kenevo Comp with a 700hr battery upgrade. Can't wait to bomb down some trails!

Great review Rob I have had my 2019 expert levo for a couple of months now and I absolutely love it!! Not sure I even want to try the kenevo as I just can't afford to own 2 bikes haha!

Neither, the YT Decoy! My CF Pro race just arrived and it’s immense. Your review was one of the main things that helped convince me, cheers 👍🏻😎

I love my Kenevo Expert. It is heavy, it is different, requires more energy but for what I love to do - DH/hard enduro this is perfect machine

Thank you... great review/comparison. I would also add the fact that the levo is now a “old” project and I have the feeling they will revamp it next year....another reason to go with the kenevo

I hope Specialized realizes what a valuable salesman you are for them . I wanted a EMTB but had no ideal which brand or model to get until I watched your video reviews of the 2019 turbo levo . So last month I bought the 2020 Turbo levo . Thanks for your help :)

Great review Rob. I have a 2019 Levo Comp and thought about a Kenevo but because of reliability problems and the fact that I had to fit tyres as soon as I bought the bike I decided to try something else. Today I ordered a Whyte E180RS. Sorry Specialized but lost confidence in your build quality. The Whyte is a fantastic bike, best of both worlds, bad news is I won't get it till February. Cross my fingers with the Levo for a couple of months.......

Kenevo can do everything the Levo can and more. Like saying I won't buy that car its too powerful I have owned both, now on Kenevo. If kenevo is around the levo becomes relatively redundant. Only area the levo is better is it uses less battery and in turbo there is a little less power on the kenevo which I'm sure is a function of the suspension and weight. The rest I would just buy a kenevo unless I was a super sedate fire road rider.

Excellent comparison; thanks. I’m recovering from knee surgery, but hope to be able to try a Levo when fit again.

thanks, but tried the levo and the weight is the decider for me, lighter is easier to lug onto trains and back of my car. not going to be hitting difficult trails so do not need the 180 travel

How do you get this incredible 1st person camera angle? It's by far the best I've seen out of any mountain bike videos! Great video! Thanks mate. Helped me choose a 2021 levo over a 2018 Kenevo, and I'm very happy with the choice!
