haha the "I'm gonna get us some of them magazines" Hemdale sample is from the uncut version of Confessions of a Serial Killer from 1985 although I've never tracked it down - cheers for the shoutout mate and you always welcome to share my sack :)

You are right about Deiquisitor being underappreciated. I have all the other albums, but I din't even know that one came out last year. The Necrot is my favorite thing they have done. I think they have really stepped up their songcraft. Good update!
Necrot really have jumped a few leaps ahead on this one! And yeah, Deiquisitor just quietly get on with creating great death metal and more people should get on board with them.

That TYMVOS sounds up my street mate , I will check that out for sure - all my fav albums are from 1991. Def gonna pick up the Hemdale / Exhumed split next month.

Witch Vomit are fantastic. Probably the best name of all DM bands. Interestingly, I prefer "Buried Deep in a Bottomless Grave" to their debut and the new one but everything they put out is outstanding.

Yeah I need to give the new one more listens for sure. Also great that you gave credit to Deiquisitor and D&Q, both probably underrated. I am also looking forward to the new Hyperdontia.

Yep I know Replicant, I had that CD but it didn't really gel with me after numerous listens. I found it too clinical. But I've not heard the new one!

I really think Tymvos will appeal to metal fans who are more rooted in thrash and don't usually like much or any death metal.
Great update! I really like new Witch Vomit, Engulfed and Tymvos are very good. Last few days I listen a lot new Rotten Tomb which is may favorite so far along with Witch Vomit. New Senguine Imperator and Ulcerate are excellent. New Exhumation listened last night and it is great. Great year so far....

Danish death metal rules lately...i really like Undergang and Strychnos alot and obviously Deiquisitor is rather exquisite also

Nice mate. Witch Vomit is excellent Smithers. I liked the demo they did too in 2016 but never picked up a copy. Oh well. Yeah 2024 shaping up. Dipygus, Atrae Bilis, Witch Vomit, Swampbeast, Contaminated, Adversarial. Also Civerous for our death/doom requirements. And Wharflurch too released a full length this week. Boner! 🍆😈
So much good stuff. The Dipygus is stellar. Should have my Adversarial in a few days
