- I hope you enjoy today’s video which is a tour of all the beautiful daffodils (Narcissus) I bought from Farmer Gracy in the Netherlands and planted out in 10 groups of 10 bulbs in October last year. And I have been so delighted with them, and look forward to them all naturalising, multiplying and spreading in the years to come. They are:

A riot of beautiful colour. Planting your selection in groups of the same type really creates impact. Oh l wish l lived near and you would let me come for a garden visit. I just love Spring. Thank you that was a really nice treat 😁👏🦋🐞

They look gorgeous Janette. Most of my bulbs have bloomed and the leaves are drying up, so it's nice to see yours looking so beautiful!

I love the various colors you have going for your garden. It is cheerful and uplifting to see them! You certainly are an enthusiastic gardener. Your plants look so healthy and gorgeous! I love to see daffodils and have not yet planted any. I’m going to have to make it a point to do so. 🤩💖
Thank you Mary. As I said, I had never planted a single daffodil before, ever, and now I love them. Mind you I might not be so enthusiastic when the leaves are all dying and I’m not allowed to pull them out 🤣😊

I like planting different coloured tulips every year so I don’t mind that those are only annuals for me, I really did love my orange tulips this year though 🍑😍

How wonderful! I just have plain dafodils. My bletillas came from that shop before brexit. Now its just not worth getting plants from UK. Looking forward to see the allium blooms.

Daffodils just light up a spring garden. You have many of the varieties I have. I love Manly and Thalia. Best of all they stay upright. I hate floppy flowers. I buy a few to trial out in the garden. If they behave, the following year I buy a load more, if they flop they get crossed off the list and banned for life!

@@TheEnthusiasticGardener I should have filmed them last week at their peek. I might add an end clip onto this week's video. I'm really behind this week. Easter holidays means family time....lots of eating, lots of cooking and any left over time has been dedicated to heavy gardening work, so filming got lost somewhere along the way 🤷♀️

Fabulous! I know it was so much work but so worth it, don't you agree? I just love my daffodils, they're so easy. You do have to be patient with the leaves. Isn't it amazing how many varieties there are? I have quite a few but none the same as you have! One really beautiful one I have called White Lion has been blooming for about 2 weeks now and still looks wondrous despite some very warm Temps. Thanks for the tour and Happy Easter 🐣.

Good Morning Janette ..... Oh what beauty Spring can bring and your garden is giving it to you .... Big time ... !!! .... I also have a few Spring bulbs round ... the Deer have feasted on some of my Tulips and Pansy .... However the Daffodils and Hyacinth are doing well .... and like you said ... That’s a sweet nickname for you. It’s Easter today here as well, we have the same as you. Richard cooked dinner, roast lamb, which was fabulous and I have one Easter egg and I’ve decided to share it with him 🤣

So so very pretty Janette 🌷 I'm itching to do my first tour, but snow again last night. Everything is behind almost 2wks from last year. Those sweet Minnows are one of my faves. Thalia will be new to me this year, can't wait. I don't care for the look of dieing daff leaves either. When a leaf yellows I snip that part away lol so it always looks green yet it's still doing its job of replenishing the bulb. Happy Easter🐇🌷

Lovely, really just lovely, looks like Easter in your own back garden. I saved this to my garden folder, really appreciate you sharing the names. Noticed your winter sowing jugs, how did they do, I didn't have much luck.
Me too. Experimented with just a few jugs but pretty much ...nothing came up.
Thank you so much Wende. Ah, the winter jugs, I must give you an update. Probably 40% success, I really need to open them. I don’t think I will bother again though, I was just curious as everyone seems to be doing this, plus of course not much else to try late winter. 😍
Eileen I was just saying to Wende that I had some success but overall I don’t think I’ll bother again. But it was a fun experiment 😍
Hope you gals don't mind me chiming in here about the jugs. I find the thing people tend to not mention in their videos is you really need to keep a close eye once the weather starts warming up. The surface dries so quickly if there is wind or no snow/rain. That top inch needs to stay moist. I use the pump sprayer so I can place the wand into the jug and mist it really good. Once or twice a week depending on the weather. Last year was a complete fail but this year it's working.

Hi there!! I’m hoping my daffodils come back every year now, and multiply. That would be wonderful. I have to get new tulips and alliums in every Autumn because they never reappear. I hate planting bulbs though 😊 that purple planter was from a car boot sale a few years ago, I was so lucky to find it. We had a little Mini Cooper car and I was on my own and only just managed to squeeze that and a chair I’d bought in 🤣 Spring is my absolute favourite season too!

Lovely surprise on this Easter Sunday😳Your bulbs look GORGEOUS especially the red impression tulips. I'm not just saying this but i too planted red impression(not from farmer gracy) and they are not as red as yours. I also planted red revival tulips which took a bit if a beating in those strongs winds a couple of weeks ago. They are now gone. I still have the red impression tulips. This autumn i will choose another colour. That's the fun part isn't it?
I totally agree Sharon, I think it’s lovely to have completely different colour tulips every year, I wouldn’t want the same every time. The red are so striking, mine got bashed in the wind too though. Happy Easter 🐣
