Good video. Im in AZ too, casa grande. Im ordering one this week. Ive been running a small 60amp ebay one and 3,000w inverter with 2 200ah lithium battrys to power my rv. Got 3 250w pannels. Gonna get 3 more for now so i can run AC and watch tv with out using up the battry during the day.

Thanks, this time of the year is brutally hot. These EG4 inverters are very efficient. I’m running my whole house 3 1/2 ton upstairs ac 24 hours a day, solar in day and EG4 LiFePO4 battery bank at night. I am running 5 mini splits and my upstairs right now. 3 1/2 ton upstairs with 2-12,000 btu mini splits to chile upstairs down to 60 degrees and 2-12,000 btu mini splits downstairs and a 18,000 btu mini split in the garage. It is very cold in my house during the day. We keep it around 74 degrees at night while sleeping. Before solar, we kept the house at 84 in day and 79-80 at night. It was miserable. Hope you keep a very cool tv 24 hours a day in Casa Grand. Hope you have a truly wonderful and extremely blessed 2024. Keep expanding,

Very nice, let me know how well it works. I’m getting ready to install my EG4 3000 watt inverter in motor home soon. Also will be using on wall in garage in parallel when not using in motor home so I can run 18,000 btu mini split in garage. Please keep me updated.

If you wanted to do 240 split phase you would be better off with the EG4 6000XP. by the time you hooked up two of the EG4 3000EHV your self consumption would be double that of a single EG4 6000XP. plus the EG4 3000EHV requires more room than the EG4 6000XP.

I agree, but I am using the 3000 watt inverter in my motor home. The 6000 watt inverter is just too big to fit in motor home. I already have a 6 kw & 12kw low frequency Growatt inverters. I just liked the 3000 watt inverter so much compared to the MPPT inverters that I want to add a second 3000 watt inverter to see how well it preforms plus it it give me 120/240v output. Thanks for the suggestion.

@@diy-solar-guy I am looking into purchasing the (2) 6000XP's or two of the EG4 MPPT 100-48HV for our off grid build. Still debating the whole thing. We have 12 QCell 390w panels to begin with but we will put up additional panels.

@rongray4118 my second 3000 watt inverter in on its way. Want to see how easy it is to parallel together to get split phase. We will see in a few days. Hope you have a wonderful and truly blessed weekend

Great video!! Did you install to drywall or fireboard? Also, are the 2 screw holes on top 16" apart to match framing members in wall?

I have fireproof backer board mounted on drywall with the screws going into studs. The inverter is mounted into backer board. The EG4 inverter only weighs around 20 lbs. the top 2 screws are just in the backer board not in studs in wall. Not sure if screw holes are 16 inches apart. That screws hold very well in backer board. No need to go into studs. My 2 Growatt inverters have one side of inverter going into studs but I had to use 3/4 inch plywood, screwing into 2x6 studs in garage wall to hold inverters. 12kw Growatt weighs 186 lbs and 6 kw Growatt weighs 109 lbs. Hope this info helps. Hope you have a wonderful and blessed week.
