The depth of knowledge that you have is boundless in the eyes of an operator. We flick a switch of motion a lever and we have only a rudimentary mental picture of a few bits meshing together without the realisation of the thousands of parts that are busy doing their bit. I am constantly in awe.

The engineers who designed the transmissions are amazing. It is a wonder how the assembly line gets all the parts assembled correctly. It is a tribute to how everything works to get the power from the engine to the ground. We stand in awe to watch the techs working on something that is rather complicated. Thank you for showing us how it is done.

Thanks for another great video ZK and Josh.
I am totally amazed at both of your skills and ZK you as the teacher. ZK you really know your transmissions. And I can tell josh is absorbing what you are telling and showing him. You two are super work partners.
The insides of the transmission have me blown away. Wow. So many pieces and parts and knowing exactly how they fit together is a lot to soak it to what and how to do it.
Far more complicated than I expected. A lot to know and then remember how it all goes back together.
I have watched a lot of your videos but this one is at the top of the list to see the inside of the transmission.
My sincere compliments to you both. ZK you are a great teacher. Josh is really picking up on things I can tell.
You both are excellent technicians and John Deere is fortunate to have you both.
    Thanks for everything.
    Really enjoyed this one.

I imagine John Deere is big enough to actually have them, but I have always felt that detailed step by step instruction manuals should be available and used for stuff like this. Especially when training or learning a new procedure/process. I love that you are working side by side training as you go but as someone who has had to learn existing process and procedures when coming into a place I have often had to bother someone else to ask a question that could have easily been answered by availability of an instruction manual. I am 100% a read the manual guy.

This narrator knows this transmission. Only thing I would suggest, is to use threaded locating alignment studs, for removal and assembling castings, even a 10lb casting could hurt not only your feet and damage casting itself hitting the concrete floor . So long story short, the thin shim should have been sandwiched in between two thicker shims for final end play. Once again, great video 👍

It took a talented team to design that transmission. Putting those screens in there to stop those steel pieces from tearing up the inside, sure saved a lot of money. I wonder how those steel friction discs got overheated and warped. It was lucky you caught that before too much metal and friction material had chance to circulate with the oil, unless they have a fine filter in the system to trap very small particles, like an engine has. If you run a new small air cooled engine without an oil filter, like they use to drive a small generator or lawnmower, after the first use, if you look at the oil in bright sunlight, the oil almost looks like aluminum paint. It has millions of tiny metal particles in the oil. I have to change my small generator oil every day when a hurricane knocks out the power. Thankfully, that doesn't happen too often, even near New Orleans, where we hold the world record for the only power failure during a Super Bowl game. The next Super Bowl here is on February 9, 2025. They are now doing a complete renovation of the existing Caesars Superdome, which is supposed to be finished next summer, in time for the Saints 2024 NFL season.

So how is John Deere for warranty? Do they still pay for the transmission repair even when it wasn’t needed? On the AGCO brand the CVT is all one and parts are not available for to. It’s real easy, remove the cab, open up a lid and theses the CVT. No splitting of the tractor at all. The CVT comes in a medal box, remove the new one and but the core back into it and back to Germany it goes. Not a lot of time at all to R&R a CVT. Enjoyed your video, great job Guys!!
