- In this video I’ll share with you my opinion on the interview of Tucker Carlson and Vladimir Putin, how Russian media reacted to it and what this all is for. After making this video, I learnt about death of Alexei Navalny in prison. This is another cynical murder committed by Putin. Navalny was a brave and inspiring person, the main figure who united Russian civil society, and it is a big loss for us. Still a brave man and didn't deserve death at such a young age and horrible way. The Chilean journalist I have never heard of...will look him up. Man does such horrible things to each other.

You know, I had written quite a harsh message about Navalny, but what's the point... Public figures are not who they are, they are what they inspire people to be, and in this sense I suppose Navalny has done a lot of good in his last years. You are young and idealistic, and unfortunately one day you'll realize the West is not better than Russia. Non at all, and not anymore. Ask Julian Assange or Gonzalo Lira, if he was still alive, and not tortured and killed in an ukrainian prison. But whatever. You and people like you are honest, and really care. And you are Russian, so it's only right for you to care about what's wrong with your Country. I hope you won't chage, and you'll be farsighted enough to not let anybody exploit your honesty. Navalny could not get 3% in elections to get single sit in russian parliament (Duma). This person was an extremist paid from outside Russia to take our school children to the streets to make disorder. Tens of millions of parents hated him and some of them will hate him forever as he destroyed young lives and future of their children

This is my first time watching one of your videos and I must say, you are wise beyond your years.
All you said, is exactly the truth! In this interview with Tucker, Putin gave a historical lesson abaut Russia and Ukraine history. But if we want to learn this hiistory, we can read in our history books. We noticed, that Tucker didn't ask any critical questions. We know, that in Russia free critical journalism isn't allowed at all, and on Friday the Kremelin announced the death of Nawalny. We think Nawalny died in a Sibiria gullag, and the whole World knows, who is responsible for his death. What I'm trying to say is, where free critical journalism will end for those prople, telling their opinions critically.........Tucker had the chance, asking Putin of sending Nawalny out of custody, but he didn't, and only a few days later it was too late!! How sad is this!!

From a Western perspective, the Carlson interview makes me feel as thought we're living in the Twilight Zone. I can only imagine what it feels like in Russia. And now Nalvany is gone. The US is despotic. That's why we have despots who lead the US to slaughter millions of people in the Middle East, which have permanently displaced over 50 million people.
The US had Julian Assange falsely imprisoned and tortured in solitary confinement in the UK. And brave whistleblower Edward Snowden, who exposed the US's unconstitutional mass surveillance program, which violates the fourth amendment, is under constant threat of lifetime imprisonment if he ever sets foot on US soil. The US also jailed Chelsea Manning who exposed US war crimes in Iraq. The US also sends militarized SWAT teams out to people's houses that they want to arrest, kicking in their doors at 3 in the morning, which shows that they are fascists.
The Twilight Zone is Joe Biden and the Democrats and establishment Republicans allowing the Mexican drug cartels to run industrial scale human trafficking in Latin America to the US/Mexico border.
Agreed with you up til the comment about the US slipping ever closer to despotism lol. It isn't the whole U.S. obviously. Just those who don't know to vote against despotism. Thankfully sanity is still in the majority but it's dangerously close and getting closer. Luckily the far right are an older demographic though.

Try PBS Frontline sometime, PBS Newshour, etc. Some media are more headline oriented, but PBS is more indepth journalism. The majority of Americans don't watch Tucker Carlson, although there is a sizeable minority who do.

I met Politkovskaya when she came to London for a Press and Human Rights event. She was electric and an uncelebrated intellectual. She didn't take herself seriously and she wasn't afraid of Putin or death. She knew Putin personally according to her testimony, and she was willing to write the truths about the wars in Chechnya!

A big problem with the whole situation is that if someone expresses an interest in understanding what Putin has to say or why he may have made decisions, people will consider that as supporting him.

I really felt that Russia made a mistake by electing a KGB officer, and unfortunately I was right.

but did you ever make sense of Epstein's death?
May I suggest that you research various sources who ofcourse are reliable and not funded by adversaries and intelligence agencies, may I also suggest that you look up independent journalists who are on the ground there in Ukraine, with all due respect to Natasha, judging by her comment in regards to the conflict, she has no idea about the truth of it all and what's happening on the ground there.
From the top of my head, Eva Bartlett, Patrick Lancaster, Graham Phillips are a few of the independent journalists, there is also French, German and others which unfortunately I can't recall their names, aside from journalists, there is also ex-cia Larry Johnson, Ray McGovern, ex-military and advisor to the Pentagon colonel Douglas McGregor, Senator Colonel Richard Black and ex-weapons inspector and marine Scott Ritter, they explain quite well, the truth about the conflict and what led up to it, I can tell you it didn't just start in February '22, they're believable because they have no skin in the game, no agenda. Anyway, I hope this contributes to your making sense of it all.

My perspective as an American. I watched that interview, and what I saw is a man who cares a lot about his image. He seemed deeply insecure in a way that surprised me. It also seemed to me that he was hoping, in giving this interview, to take advantage of the opportunity to get his propaganda to more of the world, and justify his actions. I wonder if that’s why after the interview he is said to have remarked that he was hoping Carlson would have asked him tougher questions. It would have given him the chance to justify himself more. Some Americans thought he should not have been given a platform for his lies, but I’d like to give Americans more credit for being free thinkers who can hear someone’s perspective, even if they are lies, and choose not to believe it as truth. Free speech and press is a huge part of our roots as a country.

Yeah... I think it's even more sad because it seems there is such a small number of true heroes like him in Russia now, It almost feels like the little remaining of hope for a better future in Russia just died with Navalny.

I felt nauseous and disgusted today after the news came that Navalny had died. I wouldn't mind giving 10% of my income to NATO, as I'd rather be poor and free than then be bought by the government and unable to express disagreement or protest.

I'm glad that Carlson let Putin talk. The non-answers, the rationalizations, the half truths, the gaslighting, the outright lies; it was classic. I'm surprised that Carlson bought into the displays about the economy, etc., but at least he didn't editorialize during the interview.
Navalny's death so soon after the interview just made the mockery complete.

Navalny was not a hero. He celebrated the invasion of Crimea, and did not clearly speak out about Russia's war on Ukraine. He was a traditional Russian Imperialist, who criticised Putin and exposed (some) corruption. That's all he was.

To be honest, Navalny's desth caught me by surprise, especially given that there's a $60B dollar aid bill for Ukraine going to the US Congress for a vote, with the House Leader pledging to block it. Unless Navalny died of an illness due to previous neglect or injuries, this would seem the the worst time for the Russian state to kill him, as it may take only a few swing votes to pass the aid bill.
Just look at what kind of conditions he was kept in. Solitary confinement for 300 days. In the depths of hell in Siberian cold .

So heres the poop. Tucker is a well known agent of influence and has been for some time. He litterly panicked four years ago when they started watching his handler, and freaked out publicly because of it not understanding what was happening or why. Unfortunatley for him years of being propped up by Russian troll farms and the Chinese 50 cent army gave him a big head and he thought he actually had some sway or pull. So that when Rupert lost one meteric $@#@ ton of cash because of Tucker and his ilk, and tried to lay down the law, went at the old man thinking he was was too important to be gotten rid of.
He was WRONG!
Tuck got kicked, and beaten with a non-compete so no one would or could hire him. Leaving him to go his own way and end up the Elon channel, where the Podcast he's cobbled together has slowly sunk deaper and deaper into obscurity.
Here's the thing. Tucker isn't and never has been journalist.
He's a pundit , and a proxy.
He's washed up, and no one wants him any more. This is the most attention he's had in years.
While there are plenty of very weird conservative trolls who still hang on his every word, they are in an ever increasing minority. More people believe in Big Foot, UFOs, and the 5 cent Hersey bar then believe anything that comes out of either Tucker or Putins mouths.
