These guys are trying to climb vertical sand hills in V8 powered 4x4 buggies, but ends up tumbling back down!

Again always great to see and listen to your videos, that one that did the front flip in the air at the top was cool! He must have hit the beaks a little hard or something, I have never seen that kind of flip in F1 off road. Excellent! And fun to watch!

That was wild and a super extreme course. Great video. I have an extreme offroad 69" Bronco with a 1050 hp 5.8L twin turbo Ford motor and i wouldn't even come close to these monsters. I would cry if my Bronco would roll down the hill. I wouldn't cry for me if i got hurt, only if i hurt the Bronco.

How are the drives just calm I would be scared if I fell down a whole damn sand mountain flipping 20 times
they basically have state of the art roll cages. Nothing should really scare you unless you see a fire in the engine bay

lots a comment s bout what a waste of money this is and what's the point of destroying the vehicle.i didn't see one vehicle get destroyed. the wheels are the weakest part of the axles and I'm sure they designed them that way.lm not sure how one wins this but it's the challenge that makes it inviting. anybody who doesn't get it obviously doesn't off road. if the hill is easy,they'll go find a bigger or harder one to wreck on.

We've done this for decades here in Iceland and I can' t remember anyone getting seriously hurt. The driver is in a steel bar box he has neck protection his arms are connected with a sort of rubberband so when they roll their hands won't sling outside the steelbar box and more. There are strict safety rules but as I said, as long as he is in a 5 point safety belt and in his steel bar box nothing should happen. Nothing is 100% but they try to minimize injury.

I now I am dumb, I tin I ave figured out why there is so many backward flips in some of these races. Wen they are going up so sleepy a they see is blue. If the course is sort enough they can plan to count the different bumps and notice certain outcrops and trees but on something like the Scandinavian stuff tat is mostly of no use because the ‘course’ changes competey after 6 cars ave traversed it.
Man that hill seems to be fucking up the trucks bad! Must be due to the people that design the course!

I know its a crash comp but I feel like these guys want to crash. Its almost like a performance to see who can crash the craziest. Is it like the end of the season and they dont care about their cars anymore so the do crazy stunts? And then fix them over the winter..?

For those that dont get this video it is a " CRASH COMPILATION" those buggies dont always crash look at the other vids of them going up and for those that dont know this motorsport those buggies are made simple so that if something breaks it is fixable before the next course /run is up easy fixes ... i have lived in Iceland for 35 years and have been watching this for over 25 years and been around the pits with Gunnar Gunnarsson Icelandic champion multiple times so this looks like they are destroying the buggies but it not as bad as it looks ...

Why those cars have so weak axels?
+Felipe Luiz Dickmann Those are some of the strongest axles money can buy. When those buggies roll and bounce onto one wheel, its going to snap. Thats a TON of weight being slammed onto one side of the axle really fast.

These cars really need the option to switch to fron wheel drive.
they are 4 wheel , in most cases the front drive shaft break or the gears inside the axle tear up .

I love how in the US. They have a similar sport called rock/hill racing. But here, they don't stop making attempts at the hill until there truck is destroyed. It seems these guys give up after 1 roll. In america, if it still has 4 wheels, and it is not on fire. go back at it.
