Just wondering what are the legalities of flying your drone over national monuments and parks in Ireland? From my reading of the websites of the OPW and the Irish Aviation Authority in Ireland it's pretty difficult to get permits for these kinds of shots. What has your experience been? Cheers!
Flying a drone over national monuments is very hard pretty much everywhere not just Ireland, these are protected sites and has their own rules regarding permits, being a veteran running drones is almost a must to even consider allowing for a permit. Generally in Ireland the difficulty of getting a permit for a drone depends on its size, weight and your experience.
