When a person is wearing a PRS T-Shirt and is holding a beautiful looking and sounding PRS guitar, he or she speaks with authority. I have a PRS T-Shirt and own a PRS SE Custom 24-08 in the beautiful Eriza Verde finish.😻 I remember the old days of guitar and trying to learn how to play the hard way, and you're right on every point! The only way I could get a good, affordable guitar in those days was to buy a beat up one in a pawn shop.😜 Didn't look pretty, but it played and sounded good. I'm glad that we're now in the golden age of guitars and guitar playing. Another thing that is so cool is to watch a YT video where somebody famous like Robby Krieger shows you how to play one of his great songs.😻 Thank you, I really enjoyed this video and keep strumming, brother. 👍👍👍

Thanks for uploading this information . I am middle aged man and started learning guitar recently . Most of your points are valid ,I agree . By the way , I am confused choosing between three Yamaha Pacifica models -112 V ,212 V , 312 for beginners like me . Which one is the best between these three ? If one has to choose between any one of above mentioned three Yamaha Pacifica models and Squire Classic Vibe 50 , which should be chosen ?Please reply !

I'm not sure about the 312 - I'm not familiar with that model. But the difference between the 112 and the 212 is basically just how pretty the wood is. That won't impact sound or playability, so it comes down to whether you think the better looking 212 is worth the extra money. The Classic Vibe is a great series, but I'm not a fan of the glossy necks. The Pacifica guitars also come with a humbucker in the bridge position, which is more versatile. I'd prefer the 212, if it were me.

I should also add in that the Squier Affinity Strat would give you a more "Fendery" sound on the single coils, if you're into that. I'd rather have an Affinity Strat than a Pacifica, but that's just me.

@@budgetguitaristcom Thanks for reply 🙏. So it means I have to choose between Pacifica 212 V and Squirer affinity series stratocaster. OK, done but what about the Amplifier! There are many practice Amp eg. - Spark 40, Spark Go, Yamaha THR 10 ii, Yamaha THR 30 ii, Boss katana 50 MK 2 ex, Line 6 spider series etc and the Boss Cube Street ii. I think Boss Cube Street ii is future proof Amp, I mean to say that Cube Street ii fits for beginners to advance players equally. Instead of buying a beginner Amp and then later intermediate Amp to Advance Amp, buying a Boss Cube street ii would be a prudent decision if budget allows. Please suggest me to select a good Amp so that there will be no recurrent purchase later in the learning curve.

@@rabindradahal7418 It really depends on your goals. If you want to eventually play with a live drummer, I wouldn't pick any of those choices. All of them are fine for jamming with a friend or playing at home. The street cube is literally designed for street performers - it's good at that, but unless you need a battery powered amp, I don't think it's the best sounding amp for that price. The Boss Katana Artist 100 watt combo is around the same price and definitely has a bigger sound. Depending on budget, if it were me, I like either the Katana 50 watt or the Katana Artist 100 watt. The Artist is good enough to use in an actual band with drums. The 50 is more appropriate for jamming at home or with another guitar playing friend. All of this is just my opinion, of course.

@@budgetguitaristcomOnce again Thanks for reply 🙏. So it means I have to go with Pacifica 212 V and Katana 50 MK 2 ex, I think this combination would be a good decision for me. By the way I have one more query; perhaps a silly one, forgive me for my ignorance ; Is it a good decision if I buy Pacifica 112 J and replacing it's Ceramic pickup with Seymour Duncan pickup and replacing Die Cast Tuners with Grover Locking Tuners? Please reply. Thanks with love ❤️.
