She is my violin teacher and is ABSOLUTELY AWESOME. Best teacher and a talented artist!
Jenny is an exceptionally beautiful woman. So very elegant and talented too. Also one of my top favourites.
She is alive an well . Even teaching others her Music. Awesome that!
My wife and I have seen her perform live several times. Awesome talent!
For my money, Jenny O'Connor has long played the definitive interpretation of The Gael.
Jenny is so talented and stating the obvious. Jenny is beautiful. Her personality comes through her music and it’s a pleasure to watch and hear her play. Very inspirational, and I think is a good role model for young women growing up.
She plays so beautifully and looks so beautiful as well 🎻
Awesome
The Gael and the musician overwhelm the eye's and ears! I would love to see this artist preform in person. BEAUTIFUL!
I had the honor and privilege of working along side her once.
I, a lowly TX Ren. Fest. Hawker at the time, and she... a musical goddess, in terms of both musical talent and unsurpassed, angelic, beauty. She gave me a hug on a cold Winters day one season, simply because I worked up the courage to comment her on her skill and beauty. To this day it is one of my most cherished memories...
Jenny, wherever you are these days I hope you are well. And who knows, perhaps one day we'll see each other again at the Festival, if we do... let me buy you a drink ;)
Jake Harris Lucky men
+Jake Harris meeting talent like that is awwsome.
Jake Harris you are truly a lucky man Jake to have been in such presence would have been an amazing experience
Jake Harris has

I could listen to her all day. Yes, you do have soul memory. It immediately evokes a deep sense of emotion, of tribe and family and dancing around the fire. Her star could still be rising further if she wanted because there has to be several million of us out here.

I sure HOPE this angel isn't 'dead'! The world needs her more desperately now than ever! I just watched a video of her live with her band at a Renaissance Faire, then found this video. Made my day!!
I saw her play this at Texas Ren Fair on 10/24/09. She made everyone cry. Hell, made me cry to hear her on this video. I got to play zills, riq and doumbek with them. She plays deep.
Jennifer is a unique and rare artist who seems timeless... long live the extraordinary Ms O'Connor!
It is exciting to hear this melody coming out of the strings of a violin masterfully played by a muse of music.
How can you not love this amazing young lady! No matter what she does or where she goes from here, she has fans!
Wonderful Celtic music! Many Greetings for you Jenny O'Connor from Arequipa, Peru.
Dougie MacLean's " The Gael " - An unrecognized work of simple brilliance relived with each playing.
I could listen to Jenny all day
She is a magnificent artist
Beautiful, Music , and Soul, live long and prosper Jenny!
Once in a great while someone's passionate instrumental abilities stir emotion in hearts of stone. While listening to your music my heart beat and I felt it. Thank you! Jenny O' Conner Thank you!
So wonderful ist heard it in the movie bought the DVD and still love it goes straight to my heard
Just beautiful and compelling; invokes unexplainable feelings deep inside one's soul.
Words ... can`t explain music. This is amaizing. Thanks,Jenny for your work.
Everytime I sit and listen to this remarkable piece. It's not that it's symphony stuff. It's the commoners voice. Soothing. A heart'.whether in the scales of I cannot put it to a word. Emotional is what I feel. My Father's side is scotch/Irish...my mothers side immigrated from Norway. And I feel such a attraction to this tune. I must know is it even Celtic or Hungarian. Anybody. Jenny. What is the origin. If she ever did answer is have to say.. Your fantastic
Its called the Gael by Dougie Mclean
Beautiful tribute to a beautiful talented wee lassie! Thanks Adrian!
She plays effortlessly and with great passion. Listening to her is one of God’s gifts!
jesus died to save us from this stuff
Gods gifts, lol. Please stop with the cringey and corny comments, lol.
Do you know if she still performs?
@@brucedeane8 “he sacrificed his one and only begotten son so all who are born in sin can be saved”. Hugely Powerful passage for the gullible. firstly it hijacks our emotional field. like many animals we are reciprocal, even altruistic. you scratch my back, i scratch yours. it benefits the group. 2nd, “son” is himself, “god” and is “immortal”, so capable of dieing? oh but god came down as a 'mortal' man, a carpenter, they might cry. well before he was born he was already the antithesis of a mere mortal, with his virgin conception, healing sick, blind, raising dead and countless miracles. 3rd “all born in sin”? What Vile, Vengful, grudge bearing father would torture , for an eternity, their great, great, great∞ grandchild for his ancestors 'wrongdoings', a&e eating an apple? When they were tempted by his own all evil creation, Satan. The insanity of it all! i beg you, please dont give up on a basic human moral compass, dignity and decency. it'd be more 'just' to torch someone in flames till death than the christian concept of gods 'unconditionally loving you' by giving you free 'heating' for a searing eternity if you don't believe and follow his yellow brick road. so If you’re asian and being held responsible for pol pots killing fields exterminating millions or if of european descent, being held responsible for hitlers murders. torched to death for the sick pol pot, hitler is infinitely more just, than an infinite searing with gnashing of teeth for an eternity for a&e 'sin''1000s of years ago'. you're More genetically and in history / time frame, closer to pol pot and hitler, as their genuine atrocities happened just in 1940 and 70s than this ‘a&e’ fairy tale, tempted by an all evil talking snake, created by the ‘almighty’ himself, who obviously left the door open to the garden and let the snake in to do its tempting. The outright ridiculousness of it all, makes me want to gnash my teeth!
MON COEUR A TOUJOURS ÉTÉ PROCHE DE CETTE MÉLODIE!!!!! Pourquoi chaque fois je l'entend mon cœur s'étouffe! Et des larmes me submergent ! Svp je suis juste chantal 😪
Great tribute! She plays effortlessly and by her facial expressions is truly lost in the music! A profoundly great performance by a spectacular violinist!!👍❤️👍
i have heard her many time and every times it brings something new to my mind ...thats respect
Does anyone know if she still preforms?
Everything is magical
Awesome job. Thank you for putting in the time and effort.

Such beautiful music that lifts and grows and tells a mesmerizing tale.
I love it. This is my favorite version of the last of the mohicans, sounds good... played slowly and whit passion... Thaks a lot... great video...
my favorite version of the last of the mohicans, wonderful woman with great carisma
This is why music is and forever will be a part of my soul. No politics, no bs, just pure bliss... and if you don't like it, there is something just for you. Although, there are people i guess that don't like music at all... as a musician, very curious to meet and hang out with one of them.
Such a Beautiful Amazing Talent. I love this haunting tune...❤❤❤
A beautiful young lady playing beautiful music!
First time I heard her! Hopefully I be able to see her at The Arizona Renaissance Festival in Feb. Through Mar.

Thanks for the post. The description said she was not dead so that's good. I suppose if she was it would be a memorial lol. Great talent
A person with a talent like this one should live for ever! great
If you are tired of the "Is she dead" comments you may want to change a few things. The first is the word "Tribute" coupled with a slide show of past performances sets the mood of someone who has passed. Second thing is that you have the words " 8 years since you passed." Think about how you present your messages and what words you decide to use. Just saying.
Thanks when I have access to a computer I'll try editing.... where do I have "8 years since you passed" though?
The beginning of the video in green font at the end. It reads, "who after 8 years sadly parted ways." Those who take their time and understand what is being said will not come to the conclusion of death. Apparently that is not the case. Too many of assuming death is involved and therefore it may be wise to alter a few words.
+Jose DeLeon oh.. yeah I caught it. I ment after 8 years the bad split up and went their own way.
She will be missed by all.......such a tragedy to hear she has passed.
lolllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll
The shot of her at 2:00. I mean WOW!!!
The Jenny O Conner that did die I found had many grand children and the obituary picture is of an old woman. I was shocked and saddened at first and thought NO! Jenny The Hot Violinist is to adorable and young to die. May she live long and prosper with her musical talents. My condolences to the one with grand children and her family.

Thank you for the clean version of “The Last of the Mohicans,” from a person with an angelic gift, who time came all too soon. It’s so nosey at the fair, but all my friends are there. “Sugar Mountain” Neal Young.
She's not dead
There's a dirty version of this song? Does she play it with her va jay jay or something?
My God Jenny is so good with the violin, she actually brought the violin to life. Well done, wish you success in your career in music. Cheers.
She's ok with the violin. She plays this one song all the time and it sounds just OK.
Lindsey Stirling and Mairead Nesbitt: "Hold our beers." ;)
She is not, no orchestra would employ her.
Great inspiration, in fact many artforms exist in the profile of the feminine physical form, especially when they are youthful. And if they are gifted in expressing themselves through a fine art, more beauty be upon them.
i hope she airs whatever new shes into so i can enjoy her music again. too bad for e muzeki! thanks so much for this video!!!!

I know right
Jennifer O'Connor (born November 8, 1973) is an American singer-songwriter. She has released a series of well-regarded solo albums, and has either toured or played with Wilco, the Indigo Girls, Feist, Yo La Tengo, Dump, and the Mountain Goats, among other bands and musicians. Paste Magazine has called her a "songwriter's songwriter," describing her albums as "master classes in economy and clarity.
That’s another person! It’s not the same girl! The violinist is from Texas. This girl is from Putnam Connecticut that you were talking about here.
Thank you.
she's 50?????? Looking that good? Omg im in love
When I first saw her. At a folk gathering. I was swept up with every. New progression. Then came the interlude. I was thinking of the old folks of the potato famine in Ireland. And the suffering they went threw and here was Jenny. I felt she brought a sweetness to the bitter times they endured
Well done, Adrian. A very fitting tribute to the beautiful and talented Jenny O' Conner.
