don't quote me on it , but I've been told in the owners manual on new jaguar land rover products there a small print on it *unsuitable for short journeys
Hi, i bought a launch dpf gun , it comes with a black hose and a thin plastc cone at the end, can you say where you got your transparent hose and the cone at the end? I love your work and youtube content. Thank you!
Spoke to a mate who works for a Land Rover dealer, apparently they have two 20ft containers full of DPF ‘s they have replaced 🤬🤣
Why would they spend on storage to keep old DPFs ? And not just dispose of them as and when. I'm calling BS
That's around 1600 DPFs per container.
That's total BS!
JLR Dealerships replace DPFs & Cats on a Surcharge basis, which means the originals are recycled back at manufacturer.
Longest the item will stay on site is around 2 weeks.
That means that the Dealership your mate is allegedly working at is replacing 225 DPFs a day.......

Yes it’s a Peugeot engine. Can do mega miles those lumps. Have a mondeo with one in and it’s got 200k plus on the original engine

Great content mate. But as you say every scan tool do,s not do everything. But the launch eurotab 3 at £5500. Is a lot for a Sunday mechanic. Why buy a cheap one which only do,s 10 things. Do,s launch loan you this tool or is it heavily discounted. But good content otherwise.
Had dpf problems , asked my mechanic what the SOLUTIONS are , he said forced regen , chemical clean blah blah blah , never did he say it can be deleted, paid close to £ 900, it recurred again , mechanics and dealers want your money , if you are not mechanically minded , they will never mention to you DPF delete
Most times there’s an underlying reason why the dpf is blocking (other than short journeys). A lot of Mechanics try regens etc, but don’t fix the issue causing the blockage in the first place which wastes peoples money and can ruin a perfectly good dpf!
@@MaxMoment2023 true at that time they said i need new glow plugs and modules , didnt make sense to me , researched about it becouse it felt like a rip off , found out people just opt for delete , which ... makes sense

I think when it thinks it doesn't have adblue it won't use it. Once u tell it by resetting it then it'll start using it. I think if u keep it topped up it won't give empty code.

Every time I see someone working on a Range Rover or jaguar I think thank goodness I’ve never fallen for this pile of 💩then I think who in their right mind would buy these piles of 💩after all they must watch these posts while their driveway ornaments are waiting to get repaired, nice post jimmy
Don’t buy one of these. Or any other car with a diesel Ingenium engine.
Land rovers are crap. Best to avoid them.
