I think your Dr. should have told you about the recovery from the laser surgery, don't blame yourself, it's the Drs. responsibility to give you all the information. The Dr. should ask about your life style and if you can handle taking so much time off, and being in sort of a lock down until you heal. Doctors can be so inept.
