A mandatory hard hat was considered but as the cigarette also does the work of a high visibility jacket which you definitely need in this work environment, it was decided to make the cigarette mandatory.
Safety harnesses are expensive. A couple of gallons of water to hose the squashed worker off the workpiece and another worker to replace him are both cheap.
I have watched a lot of these. Not sure why this one is fake. There is some kind of really obvious overlay going on. It's so strange. I mean they are right there. Why not just film it properly like they normally do.
Maybe they are censoring the company's name? Not much of an issue if you ask me. They just copy a rectangle from above his head to above the beam, that's all.
I see it now, same video, but out of sync (you can see rocks appear below the beam before they fall at the top, but it's from the same footage, still, why bother?
