I still have chills all over my body with this MV. The way he was looking at the camera with those siren eyes, the way he walk away, the way he said "yeah" and "set me freeeeee" felt like heaven, the concept, the color, the sound, the beat, everything in this MV smell BOP 🔥🔥🔥💜💜💜 I love him so much. Jimin left me speechless this time, the growth in him is just insane. It almost sounds like he was so desperate to be free, to be able of being fully himself without a mask, without that barrier that somehow he has because of bts (you know, he's perceived a certain way as a bts member), he is free and ready to fly and I'm here for it! No what I expected but still beyond any expectations.

I love that the words on Jimins chest are from Rainer Maria Rilke. My first language is German and Rilke is just one of my alltime favorite poets. Anyways, love the reaction, you're one of my favorite reactors.

Also!! I love the nod in the lyrics when Jimin says, "going insane to stay sane". Because in ON those lyrics were "gotta go insane to stay sane."
So in a way it's an anthem,and a nod to ON. And it's beautiful because you can see how the group truly embody their lyrics and how they write these songs authentically to them as s group and individuals.
That's what Jimin does to the world. Leaves us speechless.
This song just feels RICH AND FULL. It's so haunting and dark and yet feels so grand and spiritual. And bruh, BTS' production never lacks. The mixing and production just feels so FULL idk i can't explain it. Loved this so much. You being speechless - like honestly same. Love the song, the video, and the choreography! The dark imagery and Autotune are a good fit for the message behind the lyrics. People complain about Autotune, but when it’s purposeful and used in an artistic way, it works well, and that’s the case here. Great lyrics, and I love the visual tie ins to Lie, ON, and Black Swan. This song is AMAZING, and I was sold on it from the first look. Shout out to Jimin! Angel turned Dark Angel for this one!🔥🔥🔥

I legit had tears when I watched it the first time. I had so many emotions watching this, and just everything, the choreography, the lyrics, the concept…and he sounded and looked so good! I waited for your reaction and I think your reaction was just like mine, except I was in a puddle of my tears 😅

The spiral is the fibonacci spiral. It occurs throughout all nature and is said to symbolize the galaxy.

Oh yeah the tattoo actually comes from German poetry titled “Ich lebe mein Leben in wachsenden Ringen” by Rainer Maria Rilke. It translates to “I live my life in ever-widening circles” in English.

I also saw some people saying the wall of boxes in a semi circle could be something called a "Panopticon". Prisons are often built in this manner. The concept being that all the prisoners can be watched by one guard without them knowing if they are being watched. In art, the spiral shape can represent the past and future and/or for becoming and passing away. Then of course the poem on his chest. STANDING OVATION from me. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

The auto tune is hard for my ears to get used to especially the second verse. I have a hard time hearing what is trying to be said, but I do love this overall! I am very proud of him!
Same.. overall the concept, the dancing and the MV definitely made it great. I didn't mind the autotune, it did fit the vibe of everything but I didn't like when it turned into a robotic voice. It's different for Jimin and I liked that he showed his versatility as a performer even more.
