    GREAT video and thank you . i searched all youtube and your video is the only video that shows step by step on how to install the liners . i just got mine today from ford ,it literally took about a month to receive them , im installing them on 23 F150

    Listen everyone, LH is drivers side. RH is passenger side. I stared at them for 10 minutes trying to decide if they meant left staring at the front of the truck or left staring at the back. Ford, if you read this switch the damn label to DS/PS for clarity.

    • @BlackNightJack
      @BlackNightJack Před 8 měsíci

      Your DS/PS standard wouldn't work if you lived in England. 🤣

    • @tdtommy196
      @tdtommy196 Před 8 měsíci

      @@BlackNightJack this is true. However, the F-150 is not sold through official channels in England. That means, the drivers side would be the same as in the US, since there is no UK version of the truck.

    It does look better, but for the price of these trucks these days they should come with it....but still they catch all kind of sand, dirt, mud, etc up under and behind them so don't know what good they are, thought about getting them for mine, but instead just cleaned up the inner fenders like he did in video and spent about 12-15 bucks and sprayed it all with black undercoat, looks just as good but a lot cheaper.

    • @snakebite6511
      @snakebite6511 Před 3 lety

      it doesnt look as good because you will still be able to see where the bed meets the frame. wheel well liners are pretty much cosmetic and give it that finished look. I got the Husky liners as they look better IMO

      You can order the truck with them, or have the dealer install them when you buy the truck... but yes they should come with them. Not sure why someone would save the $$$ when considering the function and looks of these liners.

    • @snakebite6511
      @snakebite6511 Před 3 lety +3

      Yeah but then you are stuck with a GM or Chevy which is a beautiful truck on the outside only. Inside, its dated and plastic feeling. I looked at the Sierra Denali before i decided on my King Ranch and for a top of the line GMC truck, it went very plastic and dated in the cabin so for me, that was an immediate pass.

    Can you tell me what dealership you worked with or if you found the part number? I have tried two local Ford dealerships and both have told me they can’t find this part for the 2021 model year and the last guy showed me on the computer. I asked Husky liners and Rough Country and they are both 4-6 weeks out on having the 2021 ready for sale. I’m wondering if they just ordered you liners for a 2020 and it worked or perhaps my local dealerships don’t know what they are doing.

      its cosmetic, it just gives the wheel well that finished look, it also protects the wheel week from stone chips kicked up by the tires and if you live in a 4 season climate they will help protect your investment from snow, ice and salt but without undercoating, the wheel well liner is pretty much just cosmetic

    Why wipe it all clean, first time you drive through mud or on salted roads that liquid gets between the liner and the fender well. All this thing protects is the paint from kicked up rock damage.
