that really depends on where you stay what you do and what you eat. my first trip here cost me 3500.00 for three week and that was just spending money flights and resorts was pre booked and paid in advance

I go to the Philippines a couple of times a year and it can be as cheap or expensive as you want depending where you go and where you stay. I went to Borocay for 4 days and spent a lot more than when I went to Siargao for the same time. I think £1,000 a week can give a really good vacation, or as we from UK call it a holiday. There's plenty of cheap places if you travel outside the cities and drink local beers like Red Horse, a strong beer and very cheap. I enjoy spending time with the people over there, they make you so welcome and always happy.

One thing I found after spending two weeks there is that eating is not expensive. Also, it's cheaper to go to one place. I went to 4 different places so probably spent more.
Yes. If you stay in one place, you will spend less. But of course you would like to see different places you have to spend more or try to find more cheaper accommodation.

@@detacheddad3396 total was 60 days I did a extension to stay with my Asawa and her family in Negros Oriental Guihulngan City 2 hours north of Dumegete. Great area and time not Alot of forigner I see their. Was only like a handful of us there. Great place to live at
Yep from Louisiana.. 5k.usd for my 3 week vacay including flight tix room and board food with a lady companion..we spent the majority of our time on bantayan Island 🏝

Expensive compared to Vietnam. Stayed there 4 months and cost me 7000 USD. Although the beaches aren’t nearly as nice as the Philippines.

We have no idea. There's a van there. I think it's much better if you try to contact thru online those.
I was in Boracay and was very disappointed. The accommodation is very expensive, the food very expensive, boat tours dis appointing and expensive, the beach nothing special and very crowded. Saw it once and never again. Just a question, is El Nido really worth the trip and expense ?
