I'm glad I saw this side of El Nido, although it is also sad. I still would love to kayak and snorkel there someday, but now I have second thoughts. I know there must be hundreds of amazing places and without the crowds and dirt.
Yep. It's not just as popular name as el nido. But believe me. There is a lot. And it's more worth seeing than dirty and crowded famous beaches.

We plan on visiting Palawan this year but have been warned about El Nido being a mess. Your video showed exactly what this issues are. Dirty traffic and some of the restaurants are expensive and unclean. We will avoid El Nido no need to go there for island hopping.

Go to El gordo ,is a hostel whit nice people. El nido is very nice ,but to expensive,71 euro is the lobster in East EU and it is imported and big not that small
Spent 2 days in El Nido in 2019 and did the all day boat trips, most amazing experience and then only cost 1,000 pesos

For Adventure . You might want to travel to beautiful Vancouver Canada . To see more and produce more content . Your relatives are here in Canada . So it is very easy for you guys to come and travel . Something in the future for you guys.

Same old issues that drives tourism away! It's their local government & the Department of Tourism's fault w/c is as old as history too! Nothing new still in the Philippines! Sadly! The tours of the islands are great anyway!
I'm not sure the tourists care, they're only there for a short while, it's more the locals and people who live in the Philippines, they can see the issues of overcrowding, now prices will go up!

How come you have to pay to go diving? I thought it was free to swim in the ocean.
Yeah tell that to local gov which want You to pay for dives they call it sancturay fee and mainlly divers are only peopple who take care of the reefs here by collecting all that garbage and plastics. As for the dive shops you paying for air, gear, boats and guides ;)
Terrible place . Went there 2018 . Bloody traffic . No really nice areas around the town . It's a dump .

I thought you stated in one of your earlier videos that you are not complainers? And now you complain about the traffic, and the restriction of traffic in the town? But you see, everyone becomes a complainer when they are tourists...or almost everybody. Once you have lived in Asia for a long time, maybe you will have either stopped complaining, or maybe moved back to Poland. Something to think about. You have just arrived. Wait until you have been in Asia for over 40 years.
This particular place is awful and I expressed my opinion about it, even gave an example of how certain things could be improved in the operation of this tourist hellhole. We probably won't be returning to EL Nido any time soon and may never even go there again, there are many more peaceful and charming places in the Philippines.

I am sad and disappointed you guys hated El Nido - my favorite island in PHI - complaining about roads and prices and kitchens - WTF ?- did you forget you are in PHI and not Manhattan or London - disappointing - after all you guys live in PHI - there are shitholes on each island - but there is beauty everywhere - sad how you documented El Nido
El Nido is beautiful but unfortunately plowed tourist and expensive we did not like it and wanted to leave there as soon as possible on Palawan there are nicer places in our opinion such as Port Burton or St. Vicente. Even Puerto Princessa is a well organized city. Everyone has their own opinion if you like it in El Nido then spend your vacation there I probably won't go there again.
Thank you for your reply - next time I go to PHI happy to explore other destinations per your suggestion - been to Buhol - clean but also expensive - Cebu - tremendously overpopulated - not relaxing for me - anyway - I was happy in el Nido - higher prices not disturbing coming from San Francisco - and there are traffic / pollution challenges in many PHI locations I went to
