Even just from watching this video i can already tell this approach is 100% effective and efficient way of learning. I love your tutorials. The name SCIENCE of Learning Powermoves fits perfectly. I can do upto 10 - 15 flares but they are nowhere close to how clean and high yours are.
Im so inspired. after work im going to straight to practice.
Thanks man. I already practiced the flare. The thing about these tutorials is you can just jump in when you need. If you are stuck at a certain part you can just jump in where needed.
Hey bboy Avil,
First I am glad to hear that some sections of exercises already made you learn.
I did one workshop recently in Holland of the SOLPM and some people learned windmill basically in one day. Incredible...this shows that people are learning well before the suggested time and this makes me happy.
I noticed that you have been very active and commenting about new tutorials.
Thank you your drills showed me where I just wasn't getting it but practice makes perfect
You are the most legit teacher on breakdance tutorials that I have seen on youtube! Thank you!!!
thank you for this. It is nice to see a tutorial about how actual progress is made. I am having trouble with continous flares right now so i will start this progression tommorow.
Here's a story about this video that I have been working on flare for over six months
On Step 1-4, it took me about two hours to reach all the way to 200 reps per day and it was a pain in the ass. In Step 5, I thought l suppose to do 100 per reps and it took me about two months to do that. In Step 6,7,and 8, it was very easy for me because I like the word "Muscle Memory". My muscle memory can even scan my work from doing a flare. Also, l sweat a lot completely wasting almost two hours of doing this. Step 9 and 10, my left leg almost popped out, but l know how to heal it but keep sitting there like an idiot and wait for it to heal for about five minutes. I will recommend this video to anyone who wanted to learn flare. Thank you Bboy Guinho(The Science of Learning Powermove) for helping me learning flare :)
thanks for this video. been having a problem for months now, just over a week and i am seeing improvements...BIG UP USELF!
Just had to drop a comment here. Aii, so I've wanted to do flares for a while.. Gave up on flares and bboying since most tutorials were discouraging. Came across this channel this morning and DAMNNNN. This is exactly what I needed. I sped through the steps since I had a little muscle memory. My wrists hurt a bit since I was rather over enthusiastic, but I can see myself perfecting this in a month or so. Currently at stage 7. :) Thanks a lot, man.
Thank you! Hope you will learn it well.
Good luck with your training.
Your tutorials are outstanding. You allow ppl to learn through progression which will allow adaption keeping possible injury to a minimum. Gr8 job!
Thanks =)
Today's my very first day doing this training.. it's super difficult! I barely did 20 of these... but then again I was doing a lot of pushups before this. But I can definitely feel it working and I know that I shouldn't be doing other work outs before this one. Thanks for the video!
THIS WAY OF LEARNING IS AWESOME !!! I had trouble with getting into my 2nd flare. after doing only few times these exercices, I can do 2 flares now !! Thank you for this tutorial man !! =)
This is by far the best tutorial video that I've been able to find! Thanks a lot man!
Wow, your way of teaching is amazing. I love how you dissect the moves into small parts. Btw, looking at my flare video which step do you personally think i should start off with?
Cheers
Could you send the link of the video you wants to check?
Thank you! Simply train the exercises of this video. This tutorial is made exactly so that people correct their legs, develop the right strength and learn it correctly.
Train from step 1. There will be no mistake!
thank you for this video... I'm 32 years old now and been out of the game for about 6 years... My approach to practicing is to be very concise, and eliminate all possible causes of injury. I've been searching for an instructional video for flares that would suit my purpose and this is it. If I am able to execute at least two, I will upload a video and give you credit
Nice to hear that. We really hope that you can manage. Good luck
ive never met anyone who has mastered clean flares in one month, trust me , this tutorial is awesome, and flares take months to master,
Flare is my favorite move. We trained it with friends for 10 years ago. But I had always problems after the first round.
This tutorial is the best so far what I have seen. If I begin with flare anyday then I will train it in this way. Thanks.
Thank you for the feedback and SOLPM wishes you good luck if you ever train any move with our system =)
Good foundation information.
What is the music playing with video ?
i love how elaborated this is.
especially workin on transitioning and being able to show the control on the momentum!!!
haha this works for me!
Congratulations. It seems that many people are learning much faster than the time the video proposes. This is only a structure for learning systematically but if in middle of they way you master the move then you overcame yourself.
Bro i was searching elbow flare video and your clip came out...and then i was like wow....you have the best elbow flares bro...and you are very flexable...you are my inspiration on flexablity..
now I think about it I was putting a lot of pressure on myself to kick a flare quickly. I expected to be able to after doing the front kick motion a few times. This really proves that it takes time and has made me feel a LOT better. This is a brilliant video!
good luck with your training =)
I'm very pleased with effort that's got in to create the video and structure it and fact that you want to the share the knowledge.. You have the best flare and air flares I've seen so far .. Thanks a lot from India
Thank you for your comment and remark. When the videos says "do 2000 times during 2 weeks" this implies that you will do it on average 5 days per week.
2 days are for relaxing. Since we did not state this detail in the video some viewers assume that they need to train 7 days a week but it is actually around 5. This is btw an average and you can do it in your own way.
I have just started with it. Did 200 (100 in morning n 100 in evenin )
N i m very much sure that tht i ll b doin flares in 6 months :)
Great Video
Waitin for more of yours :)
hey plz respond to this!!! is it ok if i just skip to just holding myself in all the right positions for 5 seconds? I know 6 months is a short time for 3 flares but i am really impatient and i want to learn it soon! is it ok if i skip some steps?
If I do 50-75 set 4 days a week, will that be acceptable??
I already have flares down, but now I'm trying to improve upon them.
You should do a windmill from standing vid...I know thats childs play but I like the way you break down the steps and I think that would help me learn better
depends which way you do other powermoves etc.
if you do your windmill with a right freeze, do it like in the video, otherwise you won't be able to connect them and you have to learn one the other way around. if you don't know any powermoves yet, it's nothing to worry about, as long as you make sure to learn other powermoves in the same direction
Thanx for helping me mahn had alot of problems
thank you for the answer !! and if i already have one round of flare, should i start from the step 1 ?
thanks a lot.....the best teaching method. that i ever have seen....easy and clean to study...very helpful....thanks again..
thank you bboy ghuino. Your videos helped me do clean continous flares.
Found this awesome video yesterday, because I just wasn't having it with other videos and didn't help me enough. So I started today with step 5 because I feel that is the best part for me and my strength c: I hope it works especially in these times hahaha See you in a couple of weeks
how many. I learn Asher fler months. well done. Exercises with your total few weeks of practice is ???
Great series, finally someone has bothered to breakdown the power moves to ever individual aspect of the move!
Though on step 1 when I switch to my left hand it hits the ground with a lot of force, meaning that I have trouble getting close to the 200 reps required....any advise on where I might be going wrong? / how I can lessen the impact? or is it just a matter of the tendons, forearm and wrists strengthening up?...
I love your tutorials, keep them up. :) The Science of Learning Power Move
thank you for this video.. i just want to ask you if i want to do 50 of each step and i do alot of strength exercise are that help more or not??
You can learn it by doing 50 per day.
np!
Look, follow the steps of this tutorial and it is enough. This tutorial is exactly for people like you who want to develop strength or have difficulties maintaining the legs in the air for instance.
During 2 months you will already be able to correct your kicking leg as you mentioned.
Thank you
Well done! Youve provided a serious service
hey bboy guinho
Thanks for always answering my question!
and sorry i got an other one:
for step 2-5: do you have to count each holding as one repetition or the full exercise as one repetition?
peace
Think you might be right there! I will give it another shot later.
Cheers for the quick reply man!!
you are the best and you can explain it good! I think it is very important and good to say how many times thank you man
Thank you very much! It means a lot to hear that for us!
+SOLPM Instructional
:)
This helped me build really good muscle memory. I got 1 flare really quickly!
Could you send us a video?
thank you! Let us updated about your progress.
And yes please upload chairflare tutorial as fast as u can...and thanks for making these xtreme helpfull tutorials:D
Has any one complete all this guys videos cause im learning the airflare and my flares getting exceptionally better
in which video? There are many tutorials in your channel i did not find yours but I am willing to help so tell me...
Tu método si sirve solo llevo 2 semanas y ya vi los resultados! Gracias por compartirlo!
I can do step 7, should i start from there? It is close enough to what is shown in the tutorial, so would it be good to start at step 7? Thx.
hey man thank you for the video !!! i have a question : if i do more exercices of each step is it all right or you wouldn't recommend it ? please answer :)
Hey man!
Nice video hope see u soon again!
I have been following your video ever since summer and it is effective. I am now trying to get at least two. When you are doing a flare, what part of your body are you focusing on? Like are you thinking about pulling your leg, keeping your arms flexed to hold you up, or swapping your hands? Because I noticed focusing on certain parts like that actually help me.
send your video.
I like how you do everything slow this works better for me
Apreciate the channel bro, very nice your channel, exactly what we were searching
you are so flexible.... i admire it,,,
For step 2 I have to count two holding leg as one exercise or holding left leg 1 exercise and holding right leg 1 exercise?
Awesome, thank you very much. I used to think it was beyond my reach.
Vlw!!!
Bro, thanks for this great tutorial. Keep it up
ai mestre guinho quando vai sair a versão portuguesas??? to louco pra treina o flare!!! a e mas uma pergunta tipo assim eu já passo uma volta do flare sera que eu passo mas voltas antes de 6 meses??
I never saw it in such a great way of steps. cool, Thanks a lot. God bless!
Thank you!
Great tut!i'm doing this for 4 month.I can do 3 flare now but i feel heavy, and feel pain and tired my wrist and arm.Can do 200 times a day.Any advise pls?like stretching or anything...
of course man! =)
Take your time..
did you learn flare with this strategy ? or help some special strength exercises to learn it faster ?
Hey !! can i do step 1 + step 2 as a first one step ? Thank You ! .
I follow this instruction and now i can do both Flare and Elbow Flare in 8 months, it's miracle :)))
But Elbow Flare makes my elbow injured ! It's pretty dangerous ! I recommended practicing Flare & Elbow Flare at the same time to strengthen your hips and get the felling of throwing your body and twist your hip in the best way . GOod luck !
Hii if i have one flare? Can i start the program from the middle?
Thank you for answering man ! Your tutorials really help me !!! =D
The exercises will make your flare much better!
I tend to put a lot of strain on my wrists, which makes it hard to practice again the next day, do you have any recommendations for that ?
Man thanks i learn flare nd i m soo happy
It only take me less then 1 month to do it tho... main part is the kick and flow with the move?
Hei bboy Erlandas. Thank you for you video flare progression. You can try to train the first 4 steps of this tutorial and then train back again your flare.
The point is that sometimes it is better to focus on developing strength with exercises than training only the movement itself. This gives you a better coordination and strength in your legs which will make it much easier for you to do many turns in your flare.
very good video, it is amazing
Oh Wowww... !
Thanks...
I ll keep posting about my status .
Is this stretching enough as i don't have any partner.
Great Video!
But do i have to do it for the time suggested or can i reduce the trainingtime by a few days? Cause it really takes a lot of time :/
Watch the video SOLPM Methodology. You will find most answers to questions concerning this method. Thank you!
The best tutorial ever thank's dude
How do you deal with the friction when doing these drills?
That's the most perfect flare form I have ever seen :0
Thanks =)
I know your not asking me, but I'd suggest starting on which side feels more comfortable to you
im just curious i see in this tutorial that the numbers of flares being done is all done low in the ground and not standing up... if persay we train flares starting low in the ground just like how u show in the vid wouldnt it be hard to transition later on when persay i want to start doing it from standing possition entry in flares ? also can u suggest any flare exercises that can help in the progression i understand the point of the video is to massive repetition will increase strength.. but when u were training flares did u do additional flare exercises to increase ur strenth in doing flares... ty very much
The exercises will give you strength to do it higher aftewards. Just follow it. After step 10 your body will start going more smoothly.
Hey I have a concern..can I still learn this move with doin it 4 days 100 times a week..do yu think i can still learn as well becuz i have school n a job..thanks ^-^
Dis is a great tutorial!
So it is better to stretch my arms before and after training
right?
I think he's asking should we keep the legs in the ait between each step, or it doesn't matter if we touch the floor with the leg.
Wow! Flares seem WAY less daunting if you train it in little bits at a time. Could you also make a tutorial for an airchair or jackhammers/crickets? Thanks!
hey man , if you could help ill really appreciate it . when ever i try to flare my left leg( kicking leg) would go up but not straighten to were i could continue the flare .. idk if its because of my swing or something else but ill REALLY appreciate if you could give me some advise or an exercise i could practice .
Bro..... can u plz give me tips for strengthening my arms....as imma CW so my left hand is weak than my Right hand ... so How to develop strength ???
And yes i had one clearn round flares and i did 2000 resps of step one of airflare for 3 days and i got flares...now working on unstabbed airchairs and cleaning barrelmills...cant wait for elbow flares:Dand what about v flares they are so hard...can u please upload a compilation of all flare variations:)
many of us already can do 1 flare, so can you give us a tips, what step we must start? is it from step 1 or we must start at another step?
i already can flare, but by far not as clean as yours, will this exercises also help me strongly improving mine?
when I go into the flare I usually mess up how do I improve so my leg can sweep under better? Also how do i get to the back because I can't get my hips up for the back part
Normally, if you do your windmill using a freeze with your right hand, do it like in the video, otherwise you won't be able to do transitions between differrent powermoves
dude... i use right hand ( for example: when i am writing) and i use the left leg ( for example: when i want to shoot a ball) from witch side i must turn my body? Is immaterial witch leg and hand u use? Sorry for my bad English... ty
Can somehow help me with step 6? I go CCW and my right foot keeps smashing into the ground whenever I try it
When i flare i can do 1 clean round but my legs hit the floor at back do u have any tips on how to do continous flares?
thank you very much!!!
