Maybe, but the show was at it's best when he was there & suffered after he left. I think the fact that Smackdown was so much better than the Triple H show (Raw) at that time played into his dismissal

Heyman told the conference call story on the Stone Cold Podcast but in a completely different context. It wasn't when he was suspended but he was listening in to the Raw call when he was just supposed to be on the Smackdown call.

Bruce is so talented not only in wrasslin but the voice impressions are of the charts.
Bruce was out of WWE for a while, he went TNA for a little bit then left TNA when they started doing poorly. These interviews were done while Bruce was not doing anything in the wrestling business any more. I heard he got rehired at WWE, currently part of Smackdown production and writing dept.

problem is the stuff paul wanted to do the wwe could not do.
wwe is now in the stock market and vince,Stephanie and triple h have people they have to answer to. and these people would not approve it.
if you buy so much stock in the wwe you get to take part in a confernce call with vince, stephaine and triple h where they gave updates on on ppv buyrates, tv ratings, Attendance figures for shows and merchandise sales.
at the end of the call is a q&a sesseion and the people who own stock would start to really ask questions which vince, stephanie and triple h would not want to answer and they would have to give answers to.

Outside of the attitude era wwe was at its best for me at least when Paul E was writing smack down. Raw was shit but smack down was awesome

By firing someone who apparently was consistently late and missing deadlines? Stephanie hasn't been in charge of Creative for YEARS and the same complaints are still valid, just with different talent. Vince was always the decision maker for creative.

Smackdown was the better show, Raw was trash. Heyman was fired, Smack down was raided of its talent and the show went through some very dark times.
