The 56 Ford f100 panel truck is one of my favorite castings. I always grab one when I see it.
Collector Number series from 1989-99 are a fun era to collect with all the variations and first editions thanks for sharing and info.

Out of all the casting presented here , I can definitely say the following are my favorites. The 56 F100, 99 Mustang, Pop Cycle, GT40, Chevelle, and the GT3 Cup which this one to this day has the wildest deco of any of its releases.
The 56 F100 with the opening hood is under appreciated for sure. The GT40 is nice, specifically since they modified the casting a few years ago and the rear bumper is now different. The tampos on the GT3 are unique for sure. Not a fan of the plastic wing. But I loved this casting as a kid. The Chevelle is heavy and looks mean.
@@StickShiftHotWheels I wish they bring back that unique feature to that F100. The GT40 never fails to impress. They did modify the GT3 Cup casting around last year to include the spoiler on the body. I have at least both F&F versions of the Chevelle which not accurate it still is lovely
@@jaybeematthewbacarro9001 If you like the F100 casting, I highly recommend picking up a few of the spectraflame hot wheels classics versions. Nice that they modified the 911 spoiler to be metal. Metal is best.
I also adore the turbolence, mainly because of how good the big gold 5DOT wheels look on a black coloured car, but my favorite from this year is definitely the Ford truck, it looks like a premium car

Very nice collection.
Of course I bought every one of these from the pegs, but I would happily unload almost every one of these now. Not my favorite HW era.

Not really rare, but Hot Wheels stopped producing them
Which casting do you think is the pure essence of Hotwheels?
I think it comes down to personal preference. Hot wheels has made so many great castings over the years. Of all time? 96 1st edition drag bus is up there for me.
The essence for me is the new licensed models they come out with every year. Cars you could see driving down the road. That's what inspired me as a child. For me this year the Mercedes 560 SEC AMG was so hot.
