    @gerryandaya1561 Před 9 měsíci +2

    Hey mate, thank you very much for posting the video. I decided to use the fourth method about 1 year ago on my dragon fruit plants using MKP and KN03. I use the Yaratera Krista K Plus 13.7-0-46.3 (KN03) - 1 TBSP and Haifa MKP Mono Potassium Phosphate (0:52:54) - ½ TBSP in 5 litres of water mixed thoroughly and apply 1 litre per plant every 2 weeks. I started September last year and after about 2 months around November my Vietnamese White about 6 plants on a 5 foot trellis produce more than 500 flower buds but I didn’t stop using the mixture and about 50% were dropped. Is that normal or is it because there’s so many flower buds that the plants can’t handle that much or is it because I didn’t stop using it. The remaining flower buds became fruits. The other rare varieties produce flower buds but not much about 15 to 20 flower buds and I have more than 40 varieties and most of them turned into a fruit after pollination. Some failed after pollination specially the ones that requires cross pollination e.g. dark star and jade white. I didn’t stop using the mixture every 2 weeks from Sept to April and I have about 3 to 4 harvests on the Vietnamese White and about 2 harvests on the rare varieties. Do you think the multiple harvest was due to the continued use of the mixture or should I have stop using it after the first sign of flower buds and still get the same result. The MKP and KN03 are very expensive here in Australia. I still have 2 yellow dragon fruit that were pollinated last February and still on the plant not ripe yet. What’s wrong with these 2 fruits? Lately, the Yaratera Krista K Plus 13.7-0-46.3 (KN03) is not available and they suggested to use Haifa Multi-K GG 13.5-0-46.2 (KN03). Do you think this is OK? I also apply the same mixture to all my other plants - citrus, papaya, guava, chilies and ashitaba plants and they seem to like it with lots of flowers and fruits specially the citrus plants.

    • @jellyg.8961
      @jellyg.8961 Před 9 měsíci

      Probably excessive fertilizer. I have seen that in other plants that also produce lots of flowers to fruit and when too much fertilizer has been applied flowers start to drop and fruit production lowers. Also the flavor of the fruits can be affected since there are high amounts of some elements. Try better to just use the fertilizer method you used for just 2-3 weeks, see how the plant reacts, how many fruits are produced and how ot tastes. Dragonfruit are cacti and many of them don't like to be overfed. I have killed lots of succulents doing that.

    • @gerryandaya1561
      @gerryandaya1561 Před 9 měsíci

      @@jellyg.8961 Thank you for the comment. Is that using the fertilizer for just 2-3 weeks and then stop or adjust the usage to every 2 to 3 weeks and continue and when to stop. Thanks again.

    • @jellyg.8961
      @jellyg.8961 Před 9 měsíci

      @@gerryandaya1561 yes, use it maybe for just 2 weeks then stop. See in the following weeks how everything is going, how much the plant grow, if there's an increase in flower buds, etc. If the flowers produce a lot of fruits then you will know that you had excessive fertilizer in the past and that's why it wasn't right.

    I've just grown some tiny ones from seed. They're about an inch long now but they don't seem to have much of a root system. If I replant them up to half their depth would this encourage more root growth? They're very wobbly in their pots I'm almost scared to touch then in case I break off their roots. They're growing in a greenhouse in England.

    • @CarlzJafran
      @CarlzJafran  Před 3 lety

      Growing DF from seeds are more challenging but it very fun. When your seedling about an inch long there is no need to be concerned it normal for seedling of dragon fruit. They are tiny that ways they got a little bit of roots. Just wait a couple of month before repot it. You can repot them when they reach about 3 inches and above. Below from that don't do that. Keep the soil moist avoid the soil over vet. It will killed your plants. If they are so wobby just add a little bit of soil to stabilize your plant. Hope you got the message,

    • @CarlzJafran
      @CarlzJafran  Před 3 lety

      Hai... here are the ingredients...
      Ingredient 1:
      2 pcs of egg (chicken)
      1 tbsp of MSG
      100 - 200 ml of fresh sugar cane water/liquid
      1 cup of EM1
      Ingredient 2:
      Fresh coconut water 500 ml
      Mix ingredientes 1 in one bowl. Mix it well and put in bottle or something like that. shack again until all the ingredients are mix together. and put the bottle in hot place for a day.
      Tomorrow morning, add ingredient 2 that is fresh coconut water in the bottle. shack until all mix and put the bottle under the sun about 4 week.
      Make sure that it is obligatory to open the bottle cover to remove the gas in it. Open the bottle cover everyday.... otherwise the bottle will explode. wait until the gas gone and you can use the POC remedy for your plants. Happy gardening...
      This remedy have organic gibberellin 3 or GA3 for plants grow well.
